I bought these breeches to show in this summer as I needed a cool, comfortable, yet affordable breech for showing in 90+ degree weather. I wear a 28, and decided to get the long in these. (I'm right around 5'8 tall) They were much too long.. the sock would've reached my toes if I didn't pull it up over my foot. They also wrinkled and bunched up awkwardly under the knee.
I also wasn't a huge fan of the nylon fabric.. it just didn't seem very comfortable to move in and wasn't as stretchy and I'd like.
However, the euro seat was wonderful! Overall, the fit was true to size (not as stretchy, though), but I definitely shouldn't have ordered long.
Likely a nice breech if you like the fabric & get the correct size, but they just weren't for me and not what I expected from the great reviews. Sent them back and going to try Tailored Sportsman and a few other brands instead.

I bought these breeches in navy and I am very happy with them! Color is great! They run true to size for me and I have not had the fit issues others have mentioned. Love the material. I wash them in the evening and line dry overnight. I will be buying the other colors. Wish they offered more choices!!

The Bradley breeches are very comfortable, and good looking. The material is lightweight, yet thick enough to smooth over the legs without showing every flaw. I am an instructor, so wear my breeches all day almost every day, and these have been excellent for wearing--I don't want to take them off at the end of the day. The sock fit at the bottom makes putting my tall boots on a breeze, while still looking nice with paddock boots or sandals on when I'm done working. The pockets are wonderfully deep and keep contents where they belong, not floating toward the inseam as I have experienced with other breeches. I have only worn these breeches for a few hours, so can not attest to their durability, will update in a few months--after a hard summer of teaching, training, riding, and competing. I love that they are versatile enough to wear for schooling yet elegant enough I feel comfortable wearing them in the show ring--and I appreciate being able to school in the same clothes I show, makes the showing less stressful, not worrying about your attire. I would definitely recommend these to a friend looking for a pair of quality and affordable breeches.

I really like the material and the euroseat, my only complaint is that the waist is a tad big and gaps, so I have to wear a tightened belt to cinch them.

I got these breeches for Christmas, and have mixed opinions of them. I wear a 28 in the TS breeches and ordered the same in these, but think I should have gone for the long. I am 5'9" and wear these breeches all day at work, and the more I walk around, the more they slide down my legs. I believe the combination of the slightly looser low-rise waist and the tight sock cuff that cause the pants to fall down. Maybe these would fit better on someone without any calves who only wears these for a couple hours. So far, they have been cool on the warm spring days we have been having though.

I wanted to love these breeches, but I'm sending them back. The outer material seemed durable (lots of nylon) and the inner material was soft, but I wanted more stretch. The waist was gappy at the back and tight in the front; it's not often that I find breeches that are simultaneously loose in the waist and give me a muffin top at the same time. I'll stick to my Tailored Sportsmans.

I love these breeches, they are my new faves! I have all the colors, but beware! Because they are low rise if you have a butt order up at least one size if you don't your butt will keep falling out of the back of the breeches. Other than that, they are flattering and wear like iron, I rode in them for days and days and didn't wash them to see how they would hold up. Then after washing them in leather therapy and hanging dry they looked just as they did out of the bag..Very nice love these!

I've been looking for a new pair of show breeches and I tried ariat, tailored sportsman etc. These breeches fit better and were at least $70 less. I have "boy hips" so these might not fit someone with a fuller hips and a smaller waist. I was worried they would gape at the back while riding, but they don't. They wash really well. I'm hoping they breathe well this summer, but with the coolmax that should help.

Okay. Overall-loved these when I first got them, but not as much now, as I am familiar with their flaws through riding in them enough. PROS: Fabric is thicker than you would think, which is odd, BUT is flattering and tough/durable actually. Love the Euro seat and 2 inch waist and floral print, and semblance to show breeches. CONS: NOT as stretchy as I would like/would seem normal! In waist or thighs, BUT, IS too stretchy at lower leg, and also too long-the nice thin elastic ankle closure is too long and large-and I am even a curvier rider. Also, they resist stain well at the beginning but after months start to become very stained even with ocd laundering. Also too high in front and low in back. Bothered by the lack of stretch because it gaps in the back when you ride, and they slowly fall down because of the fabric weight combined with lack of stretch. Also, the delicate little zipper would be better in the side, and made more durable, as it also becomes overly loose and, like the pants, falls down. I can no longer wear mine because the zipper falls within a few minutes of riding-so embarrassing. However, with all these flaws, these are still oddly nice..really if just shortened and inch and made more stretchy, esp. in waist (gapping), I would buy more...like 2 of each color! lol.

I have these in charcoal size 28R. They are too long the sock bottom comes all the way to my ankle bone I am 5'5" and a bit around 135ish. Bunches behind my knees and down my leg along the outside seam. Fabric is heavier then I wanted and scratchy on the inside. Things I like 2 inch waist band, euro seat, cute floral pattern inside waistband. I would prefer a side zip option. I don't reach for these breeches first they are more like a backup pair. I wanted to find a good quality nice fitting schooling breech at a more reasonable price, but I won't be buying again.

I love, love these breeches! They are comfortable, flattering on a curvy girl like me and have just enough stretch for a good ride. My only complaint is that my big thighs seem to pull them down some and I have to sometimes tug them up so that the crotch isn't so low when I mount. Not a big deal though. I especially like the bottom of the leg. It's thin soft stretchy fabric that is really comfy and non bulky under half chaps. I will probably buy another pair soon!

I have several pairs of Tailored Sportsmans, Pikeur, Ariat, and Animo. I like these better than my TS and Ariats. They rank up their with my Animo and Pikeur. They look nice. Clean well. Look great for schooling and I will probably wear them at winter circuit. My tailored sportsmans always shrink and fade. I do not see these doing that because of the fabric. These do fit a tad bigger than TS, but I would still stick with your normal size.

I was super excited when I got these pants as a Christmas present. The fabric seemed really nice and I like the sock bottom... I tried them on and the fit was OK, they're kind of low in the back and too high in the front, but I figured they would work OK. Rode in them a few times and it was a decent fit besides slipping down in the back despite being too high in the front. And after washing these a few times (following all the instructions) the fabric started to pill all over, only after like 3 washes. I'm very disappointed in my purchase because I can usually rely on smartpak for good quality products. These breeches were a waste of my money, I would spend the extra $50 for a pair of TS breeches. Not buying these again.

I really loved these breeches at first, they were nice quality and looked fashionable and updated. They wore fine and fit well (I am tall and thin and have no problem with a belt, as in no bunching). Gradually over a few months i noticed that the saddle marks i would get after each ride didnt really wash out. By now, there are dark stains on the inside of my legs and butt! I always wash my breeches after each ride and follow the care instructions. I just hate to see my favorite breeches discolored to a point where i don't like to wear them. Every thing else about the breech i absolutely love and have had no other problems. I have the tan and maybe the stains don't show on the other colors

I am having a problem with the material "pilling". I had not expected this to happen with this pair of breeches. I feel the material should be more able to withstand the rubbing on the saddle since that is what they are made for.

They are beautiful looking breeches, I got them in the charcoal color and its a great color and soo wanted to love them...Unfortunately thats all I really can say that is good about them. They are much larger at the waist than the legs. They are fine to ride in, its the actual walking around that they just keep falling down. I would say go down a size but then the would be too tight in the legs. I figured I would tough it out and keep them but after just one ride and one wash the material is pilling all over.
On the other hand I would HIGHLY recommend that you spend the extra money and get the ALEXUS breeches they are absolutely fantastic! The fit is much better and they look great, they also seem like they will hold up much better than the Bradley breeches.

They are not a bad breech and comfortable in the saddle. However the quality and fit and small details were more reminiscent of a tuff rider or riding sport brand. However I paid twice as much, so I feel a little cheated. They are a little high waisted and ran big. The calf was great material but was huge on my leg and inched under my half chap at the end of the day. They have a great look with the euroseat and floral waist lining. After one wash the pilled on the outside. The button clasp has to have a shirt tucked in or it will pinch you like crazy. I think if it was a little less expensive I wouldnt be so picky. Especially as this is SmartPak signature line, I expect the same quality as I have always received with their supplements and customer service.

these breeches run extremely large at the waist. I'm normally a size 28 in pretty much every pant I own, especially breeches and the 28 in these are so large I can barely wear them with a belt. For the price, the quality is good, however they are a little bit slippery and the material is very shiny. Overall they're not terrible breeches, but the fit is definately off which makes them awkward.

I received these breeches as a gift, and overall the quality is nice and the fabric looks great on. However, a little warning..... i got the navy, and my hands were purple from the dye as soon as I put them on. They fit well when riding, but my saddle pad had purple marks! I washed twice and would recommend the same.
One other note, these seem to run long. I am 5'2", and they fit great in waist, hip, thigh, but the length was so long that the stretchy calf fabric hit around my ankle and I actually had to roll that portion up to ride. Please make these in a short length without the purple dye issue, and I would definetly purchase again.
