Wooden Mane & Tail Brush
The Wooden Mane & Tail Brush is gentle to reduce mane and tail breakage. Wooden bristles with cushioned backing gently works through the mane and tail to remove tangles, hay and shavings. PS. Great for human hair too!

My horse has a very thick mane, so I figured this brush would be great to get the dirt deep down and loosen it up. It doesn't even get half way through his mane. I tried it once on him and tossed it in my "catch all" tack box. Where the bristles sit can flex, so if you have to apply any pressure- like trying to work out a knot- it just collapses in. It can't even get through MY hair! You're better off getting a different style, or even a brush made for humans.

When I got this brush, I was fairly happy with it. It looks nice and has a nice wood handle. Seemed to brush through my horse's mane and tail alright. However after just a short time of using this brush, the glue holding the rubber part with the bristles came unglued and the brush fell apart. I had to throw it away. Pretty Disappointing. My horse doesn't even have a thick mane or tail so it should have lasted longer. Would not suggest buying this.

I LOVE the idea of an actual brush for the mane and tail. This one is already coming apart and I have barely used it. the rubber part that holds the bristles keeps coming out of the wood handle. :(
