"I had been eyeing up this particular shirt for a couple of months prior to ordering it...I'm so glad that I finally gave in and ordered it! The first thing I noticed when pulling the shirt out of the package was that the material is very smooth, and feels like my other riding shirts that are great at "wicking" away moisture (ok...sweat!) on warm days. I tried it on, and it fit absolutely perfectly! The ruch-ing is extremely flattering! The buttons up the front add a little something extra, and the pattern on the shirt is nice without being over the top. My two concerns from reading previous reviews were 1) the length of the overhang on the collar & 2) the smell of the fabric. I think that the collar is the perfect length & love that it velcros shut...the Mountain Horse logo looks very nice as well! I do want to add that I did NOT notice a chemical smell to the shirt...? I did order the white colored shirt, and am totally bummed out that my size is not available in the navy as well! I also would like to add that the mesh fabric under the arms is a very nice feature, and I'm sure it will be great in warm weather! Can't wait to wear this to shows this year! Would definitely recommend this shirt, LOVE it!"

"The first time I saw this shirt in the catalog, I fell in love! It looked like such a flattering style. I didn't actually buy the shirt until it was on sale. I just received it in the mail yesterday and it's everything I wanted it to be! It fits amazing. The ruched fabric accentuates my assets. The fabric is very lightweight and stretchy and it looks like it will be very comfortable on hot show days. There is a very strong chemical smell lingering on the fabric. Hopefully it will be gone after I wash the shirt. I gave the shirt a 4 star rating because of the fabric smell."

"I have been waiting for Mountain Horse to bring back their technical riding shirts. I love everything about this shirt: the ruching, the long enough length to tuck it into low-rise riding breeches, the ventilation (under arms), the soft material and the cute pattern. I don't need the shirt for show, but like to wear them for regular shooling, so the original top with a zipper was slightly better for my purposes. But no complaints, I am happy it its back.
I did have the issue of heavy chemical smell which needed 2 washings to get rid of."

"I bought this shirt for shows and clinics. The style is great without being "too much". The ruching at the front is nice without creating an excess of fabric, the faux pearl buttons are pretty and some extras are provided in case one gets lost. The white collar is very pretty although I wish it wasn't cotton. If you plan to wear this with the neck open (ie if jackets are waived at a show) the closing flap will be much longer on one side which isn't attractive. Other than that one design flaw, though, this is a great looking shirt, classic but a little different at the same time."

"Based on the reviews I got the shirt in navy.
I've not worn it yet because, the snaps do not snap. They are pretty pearl buttons but, I can't fasten them. ? The sleeves are also a little too short and the fabric has a strange smell."

"Got this and wore it to a show same week. Really good shirt on a hot, humid day. Did not show up the sweat and wicked it away so I did not come out of the ring soaked through like I normally do. Also looks very good without a jacket over it, and the neck stock is totally adjustable. It is pricey but I felt cool riding in it on a very muggy day and the fit is super. Wish it came in more colors as I would buy another. Can't say about the durability as I only have it two weeks, but it seems very good quality material and seams are good etc."
