The Mylers have designed an entire bitting system to effectively communicate with any horse at any level of training. Based on bitting a horse appropriately through his training, the system works by releasing points of pressure and using softer bits as the horse progresses. Because of the bit variations available, the system may seem complex, but it is quite simple. Each mouthpiece is coordinated to a horse?s training which is generalized into four levels. These levels serve as a guide to bit selection as you match horse and rider needs.

"I am a fan of Myler bits! My quarter horse has such a wide face that I have trouble fitting him with a bit that has any type of purchase as it pinches his cheek bones. The folks at Myler wisely curved the top pieces away from the horses face. I am limited with how high the bit fits in his mouth but at least this one works. I will say though that both horses I used it on pushed right through it at first. It is not as harsh as a Tom Thumb so it takes a little practice to get the same results. My QH finally relaxed rather than bracing before any correction."
