Ariat® Volant Show Chap
When Ariat introduced the Volant tall boots, they took the English performance world by storm. Now, the Volant Collection has been expanded with the Volant Show System, and the Volant Show Chap makes its debut as part of this collection. This show chap is beautifully constructed from premium European calf leather with stretch mesh, an oiled leather inner calf and high Spanish-cut topline. Pair with the Volant Show Zip Paddock Boot for a combination that looks and performs like a tall show boot. Imported.

"I was so excited about these half chaps! They are eye catching in a subtle way, love the Spanish top, broke in easily, are pretty cool in the heat, and seemed durable. Well, I have ridden in them maybe 15 times and the elastic that runs down the calf has stretched and split. Everything else looks brand new, but they are now too big and slouch down. I am pretty disappointed and am returning them."

"I have only worn these a few times but I am liking them so far. I do think that they are very attractive, which is why I bought them. They run more slim than usual so I had to exchange the first size I ordered. The zipper is a little bulky. Overall I like them rather well. I hope they hold up!"

"I have worn Ariat half chaps for over 10 years, this is the first time I have worn a medium rather than slim calf. Not a problem, just keep it in mind when ordering them. The zippers appears to be vastly sturdier than they have been in my previous pairs. As a dressage rider, I really wanted a pair that were the same leather all around the leg (except for the zipper area) and lined with leather--so they fit more like my boots, but alas that style is not to be found. After looking for over a year, these are the best I found, and they are very comfortable to ride in. I would certainly recommend giving them a try."
