"I LOVE these pants, with a couple tiny exceptions.
1) The sizing. I wear a 2 or 4 in jeans and bought these in a Medium because I didn't want them to be a tight as most breeches. Medium was humongous on me, so since I really wanted them I went for the Small. They're very tight, but comfortable enough. If I could lose the 5 lbs. I'm working on they'll be perfect!
2) No back pockets. No place to put my iphone! Obviously not a big deal, but I like to be able to stick the phone, or my gloves, or a towel in my back pocket & I can't do that with these. Back pockets would make the rear view more flattering, too. That said, the full seat on these is VERY flattering compared to most because it doesn't flare out at the hips & make you look like a billboard from behind like regular full-seats. and
3) They REALLY need an under-foot strap like saddle-seat or children's jods have. Despite being tight around the calf, they ride up to just above my paddock boots. I bought some clip-on underfoot straps & it remains to be seen how the fabric will hold up to the little teeth inside the clips. The fabric is nice & repels stains & hay & hair, but not sure if it will run over time from the clips.
Overall very flattering, especially if you have errands to do before or after the barn & don't want to look like fool, very comfortable, and nicely made with the exception of the weird sizing.

"These pants look good - slimming and stylish - BUT... I have very slim legs and they are tight around my knees and calves. I can't imagine how they would fit if I had normal sized legs. They said the regular length was plenty long, and I usually don't wear long - but the regular length is not adequate. They ride up my leg above my ankles as I ride. Every time I bend my knees (like to mount) I have to pull them down or they are too high. The material is "grippy" on the inside next to your skin, so when they ride up they won't fall or slide back down - they have to be pulled down. I wish they performed as well as they look. :o("

"I have a pair of boot cut Kerrits with knee patches that I love, so I was really excited to try these out. While they were super cute and seem to be good quality the fit was very odd on me. I'm a rather curvy but proportional gal and ordered a large. They fit me GREAT around the booty and waist, but were incredibly tight around my calves and knees. Now, I don't have little skinny calves, but they aren't monstrous either. I tried wearing them around the house to see if they would stretch out and settle down. After about ten minutes I gave up because my feet were starting to tingle and feel numb. So back they went, which of course wasn't a huge deal because of SmartPak's great return policy. Only three stars for durability because I have no idea how they would hold up."

"I love bootcut breeches, and these are pretty good. I wear a size 8-10 usually in all the jeans and dress pants I own. I bought these breeches in size Large Tall, and they are VERY tight. I kept them because I am on a weight loss journey right now, but if it weren't for that, I would have sent them back. The sizing chart says Size Large is suitable for Size 12-14? Wow, ok. That doesn't seem right. They are definitely long, which I wanted. Even so, after a few miles of cantering, they have worked their way up my leg and my whole shoe and sock is exposed and I have to reach down and pull them back down my leg. I have that problem with every boot cut breech because they never include boot straps to hold them down unless you buy $400 custom. But anyway, the material is beautiful, and very well constructed. They are flattering, and comfortable. The full seat is very grippy and gave me excellent stick on my leather saddle. The grey and black is a great contrast, and the long, square panels of the full seat has a very slimming effect to the eye, unlike typical full seats with the big round bubble butt look. The panels have a slot cut out on the back of the thighs, which is weird and hard to get used to. The pants create a fold or crease right there and I feel like I constantly have to smooth it out so it doesn't pinch my skin. Don't notice it while riding, but definitely while walking. Overall, these are good but not great. I'll wear them until I can find something I like better, or maybe they will work better once I lose a little weight and they aren't quite as tight. I bought the Large because I was hoping for them to be a tad loose. Instead they are extremely tight. Don't want to exchange though because as I do lose more weight, then they'll be TOO baggy :-)"
