"I bought the trail winter gloves and work at the farm. That means, feeding, haying, mucking, and using all sorts of equipment. I remove blankets, lead horses in and out to eat and whatever else there needs doing. So to give these gloves a rugged test - I did just that and they are holding up great. They are dirty, but warm (even in the teens) and flexible. BUY them - you won't be sorry."

"Love these gloves. The very best for very, very cold weather. Lightweight and good for light barn work as well as handling reins. Wouldn't be w/o a pair of these!"

"I ordered these as I wanted a warm pair of gloves to do my barn chores in...these looked a little too clunky to ride in for my taste. After receiving them, I'm planning to send them back. The fit is good, but I'm not a huge fan of how these feel...the fabric is not to my liking, and I don't care of the quality of the snap around the wrist. They just feel too clunky even to do my barn chores with! My sister has a pair of the Tredstep Ireland Polar H20 gloves that I like, and I think I'm planning on getting a pair for myself for barn chores!"

"Love the gloves. Really keep the hands warm and they are not too bulky for handling reins.
I am giving "only" good for the durability, since I am just using them for over a month now and cannot tell yet. The way they are holding up, I would think I can use them at least another one or two years.

"I bought these on sale just to have a spare pair of barn gloves this winter, and they have quickly become the pair I wear every night at the barn. They aren't too thick and bluky, and are nice to ride in. My hands get cold so easily, and while these are not the very warmest gloves ever, the trade off for comfort and ability to maneuver in them is way worth it. I would buy these again in a heart beat."

"I have been very impressed with the Mountain Horse gloves that I purchased from Smartpak. For months now I have had to ride my horses or work in the barn in the evening and have not enjoyed going home with frozen fingers. Then I found Mountain Horse gloves. My hands no longer get cold and I enjoy my outside evening activities even more. This is a very nice product. It might be a little clumsy to begin with, working with reins p, but my fingers are warm and I am quickly becoming accustomed to the difference."

"The glove fits very well, and is comfortable and effectively keeps the cold out. The only snag is that the right hand opening was narrower than the left hand opening, which makes it a struggle to get my hand into the right glove."
