"This girth was exactly what I was looking for. Loved the natural fleece and how the girth felt.

It will not work for a smaller horse. I purchased a size 22" and there is approximately 1 inch of excess "backing" and 1 inch excess fleece on each end. This turns a 22" into a 26". If the fleece backing only extended 1" on each side, it wouldn't have been so bad. The the excess material isn't needed in my opinion. As long as the end of the girth is backed with fleece, it should not rub.

I thought maybe I received a girth with the wrong size fleece backing (size 24 backing for a size 22), but it's intended to fit like that (I talked to Prof. Choice). Their smallest size is a 20", but I don't think that would fit as well as a standard 22". Very bummed!!"

"I really like this girth. So far I have nothing negative to say about it. It keeps my horse drier and cooler. It fits really well and it dries very nicely. I have not washed it yet though so I can't comment on that. I also can't say anything about durability since I've had this girth only about 3 months."
