The?Steffen Peters SMx Luxury Shearling Pad provides quality shearling which is placed under the saddle pressure points and over the withers with a micro-cellular pommel piece for comfort and slippage prevention. The under panels are padded with UltraShock, Professional's Choice signature shock-absorbent material, that is perforated to allow maximum breathability. The cut has a generous rise for the withers, an open spine and is slightly oversized for shrinkage. 100% cotton top and bottom. Machine wash, hang dry. Imported.

"This is a very well made pad. I have a very large horse and I think that a lot of dressage pads are not long enough but this one is. I do think that it was worth the price. And it stopped my slippage problems. I also love the billet keepers."

"I wish this saddle pad had something underneath to keep it from slipping, then it would be perfect! My gelding has higher warmblood withers and this pad just kept slipping back under the saddle. I loved the billet keeps and how they were sectioned and I loved how this pad really helped get my saddle to fit him comfortably! It's sharp looking too. I was so bummed that it just wouldn't keep our saddle in place."

"I know it's a lot of $$ for a saddle pad but if you have a sensitive horse or need pad for better saddle fit this pad is a DREAM! Very high quality and great design features. NShearling is exactly where it is needed but my favorite part is the billet keepers. There are three individual slots on each side which keeps your billets perfectly aligned. AWESOME"
