"I bought this for my boy when he was stuck on stall rest for 6 weeks. He was getting really upset and difficult to handle after a few weeks so I tried this supplement. It really made a difference. He is easier to handle and seems way more comfortable. Since he is naturally kind of spooky and easily excited, I am thinking about keeping him on this for a while. I just want to make sure that it's safe for long term usage first."

"My 9 year old WB has not been allowed turnout since tendon surgery in June. He was nicknamed the "brown Lippizaner" at the barn for his acrobatics at the end of the lead line, until I started him on Relax Blend. Other calming supplements did not work nearly so well to maintain his sanity. This is a quality product that really works. I found it palatable for a picky eater, and addressed the "powder poofing" issue others have commented upon by just mixing in a handful of water with the feed."

"On the recommendation of a friend I bought Relax for my horse when his only pasture mate died suddenly of colic. He was frantic and sedation only provided short relief. After just one dose he visibly quieted and stopped pacing, and has stayed calm since without being sedated or stumbling. I would use this product again in a heartbeat and have already told all of my friends about it!"

"I have a 5 year old TB cross mare that tends to get a bit "moody." After 2 weeks on this product even my farrier noticed a difference--she's much more mellow & even-tempered. It took a day or 2 for her to get used to the smell, but she eats it w/no problem. I highly recommend!"

Stall resting April 30, 2008

"RelaxBlend is sooo amazing! I have had my horse on it for about 2 months and it has kept him sane on 2 1/2 months stall rest while he heals his leg. I have also had him off of it for a period of time because I was out of town and there was a SIGNIFIGANT difference in his behavior w/out RelaxBlend...he spooked and kicked me, but when he is on it he's a sweetheart! I wish it was pelleted because I hate seeing it poof away and out of the feed!!! Can't wait for stall rest to be over...I also trust that it isn't harming my horse's stomach b/c it's natural."

"Relax Blend works great if you deliver it in another form than the powder alone (you can mix in a large amount of molasses, but watch out..it swells to peanut butter consistency). Just mixing it straight into feed was way too dusty and it went all over in a smoky cloud of dust. I changed to Confidence+ and although it is also a powder, it doesn't poof away (up my horse's nose) and works wonderfully."

"I have a "middle age" Tennessee Walker that has always been very nervous and spooky. I have tried several calming supplements and even used injectible tranquilizer out of desperation so I could ride with friends! Since feeding Relax Blend once daily, he is a more relaxed horse. He is more tuned into me and little things don't turn into big problems. All my friends have noticed the difference. I love it!"

"My six year old gelding seemed to be nervous which we had seen beginning and increasing gradually. We were concerned especially when it continued into the third month. We moved from the barn where it began, where he became unhappy because the horses were treated sternly. He was not used to this. He had lost a lot of weight which upset me as well. So we moved him to a stable that he loves and that loves him. We could see he was happier and more relaxed but still had nervous tendencies which we felt terrible about as he certainly had not been nervous until the previous barn experience. I called SmartPak and its staff gave me much information about the products it offers and allowed me to make an intelligent choice in my selection of Relax Blend. It is an herbal calming product, an all natural herbal blend containing valerian root, chamomile, hops, betony and passion flower. It is used on horses as a calming aid, helping to reduce nervousness, tension and anxiety. After two weeks there was a difference and my horse was calmer, so I emailed Lucy to thank her. She asked that I write a testimonial, but I wanted some more time to lapse to judge this product more effectively. It has been a blessing! I have noticed, everyone at the stable has mentioned, that Duke is noticeably calmer and happier!!! We are VERY pleased with Relax Blend."

"A friend who'd used Relax Blend recommended it to me for my 10 year old Warmblood gelding. After 8 months use, I'm a very satisfied customer - he's calmer during turnout (he used to fret and pace up & down the field) and much more focused when we're working. I'm also able to adjust the dosage if necessary (during hurricane season, it's a must!) without worrying that I'm loading his system with drugs."

"I have two young Arabians, 5yr and 6yr old. I have been working with them now for 2 years trying to get them to calm down. They are brother and sister so they are alike in many ways. They both are scared of their own shadow, or any thing that moves around them. I started using Relax Blend and they are both different horses. It worked wonders on them. I will never be without it again as long as I have these two horses. I love it because it does not drug you horse, they are still very alert and pay attention to me. I would recommend Relax Blend for any horse that is jumpy, nervous, or just scared. It makes a huge difference in the horse and also for your safety."
