My horse always coughs in the spring a bit. He spends about the first 5 minutes trotting clearing his throat. I'm always worried it will develop into something more serious.
This has stopped all of his coughing within 24 hours. I accidentally ran out, and he was back coughing. Put him back on and he's perfect. I think his breathing is generally fuller and smoother when he's taking this too.

I tried this last summer for the first time. My horse appears to have allergies. He coughs the first five minutes of riding year round but is much worse in the summer. I've tried other products but this works the best. Highly recommended!

I'm not one who gets into supplements a lot, but...when I retired my now 16 year old gelding and bought him home to my barn, he developed a cough. I assume he's sensitive to the stone dust floor in the barn. I did what I could for ventilation, made changes to his bedding, etc. but he would still cough during meal times, so I decided to try this. He's been on Freeway Gold for two weeks and I've only heard him cough once. He's no longer shaking his head and just, overall, looks better.

He's not a picky eater, but he did turn his nose up at his grain the first time I mixed it in. It does smell strongly like licorice. I added a little coca soya (his favorite) and once he started eating it, he realized it didn't taste too bad and has been gobbling it up every since. :)

I have used every product on the market for my horse's heaves. This stuff works!! My horse coughed only before and during morning and evening meals, but now, not at all! This is a wonder product, and if you think you have tried everything, give this a try. It is well worth it and at a good price. Two thumbs up!!

I can't say enough about how happy I am with this product. I have a mare who has a dramatic case of laryngial hyperplasia. After multiple rounds of antibiotics and immune system boosters we could not get past the coughing. Riding her was near impossible due the coughing fits. My vet suggested trying an herbal product to see if we could calm down her throat so she wouldn't react to every inhaled particle... Freeway Gold was not the first product I tried, the first one was not helpful and tasted bad. Two weeks on Freeway Gold and no more coughing!! Back to work for two months now and everyone is happy. Considering both the amount and severity of coughing this mare was experiencing - practically a miracle! And to boot, she loves the taste!

I purchased Freeway Gold b/c my 20 year old FEI gelding was diagnosed with allergies. After just 10 days on Freeway Gold, there was a huge improvement in allergic symptoms! My horse was diagnosed with heaves in November 2009. Really didn't want to put him on heavy medications (steriods, etc.). Visited quite a few blogs and this product had good reviews. Started my horse in December on Freeway Gold (liquid). By February he was only coughing once a day at feeding time and I was able to ride at the trot with no coughing. He stopped coughing entirely in March and has been fine since. Had the vet out in March for his spring shots and she was surprised at the increase in his breathing. She said his breathing will never be 100 percent again, but it has improved from last November. This product has worked very well for my 22 year old Standardbred.

It's so nice to be able to get on my large pony and not have him cough the first 5 minutes he begins to trot! A week after giving him Freeway Gold he hasn't coughed and has more energy. It's also nice to not "hear" him breathe anymore too! (He's heavey!) Once again, thank you SmartPak!

After trying several (probably all of them) different approaches for my 18 year old dutch warmblood with his breathing allergies, this product is worth its weight in GOLD - He is a bright, talented, frisky PSG schoolmaster (he still thinks he is 7) and it was very frustrating to have him sidelined because he couldn't breath. I have learned to stay ahead of the allergy seasons to prevent any discomfort for my horse: Freeway Gold makes that possible! I highly recommend this product for any horse with any breathing/allergy issues.

Freeway Gold is a great product! I helps my 5 year old Welsh Pony so much! She really likes the sweet apple and vinegar taste. Usually I can't ride her with a saddle because the girth restricts her breathing, but now i can ride her with a saddle with no problem! THANKS HILTON HERBS!!!

I have a 31 year old Paint mare who suffered a chronic cough. We tried many remedies, but this was the only thing that both worked, and we could get her to eat! We tried other respiratory supplements, but the smell and taste prompted her to go off her feed. This product has a tasty apple cider vinegar base that she loves! Thank you Hilton Herbs!
