Leather Therapy Laundry Rinse & Dressing
Now a washing machine can clean and maintain stiff, grimy chaps or full seat breeches. Leather Therapy Laundry Rinse & Dressing is a one-two cleaning punch for riding apparel and tack. Leather Laundry Rinse & Dressing adds rich emollients to soften and enhance leather -- applied directly or added to the rinse water can also be directly applied (comes with a sponge) to wet leather to increase softness as it dries.

If planning to use this product on FITS breeches do NOT use the product as a dressing. It will stain and RUIN your breeches! I followed the directions exactly and the result was two ruined pairs of FITS. It left horrible dark stain looking spots all over the leather. I'm extremely disappointed in this product and very upset that not only do I have a product that doesn't work but I also am out almost $500 in breeches.

I bought this thinking it would be comparable to Pepede Wash- its definitely not. The consistency changes after a short amount of time to a weird thick glue that doesn't disperse well in the washer. I wasn't impressed with how it cleaned, and my leather products came out feeling dry. It's very OK, overall. I wouldn't purchase it again, as long as I can get Pepede. (Pepede is way more economical as well, because you only use a capful per load.)

The laundry rinse is a great product when new. I have used it on very expensive leather breeches (EuroFit) and have been very happy with the results. The leather on the full seats stays soft and supple. I was worried the conditioner would leave residue on the fabric but it does not. The problem that I have is that the laundry rinse becomes very thick in the bottle over a few months time. The consistency becomes so thick that my automatic fabric softener dispenser cannot handle it. So, it's great when first purchased but you had better use it fast before it turns into pudding consistency.

This product is good to maintain the softness of leather breeches, but I really want to see it in a larger bottle, as I have many pairs of leather breaches and I don't want to pay for lots of shipping fee. Can this be a powder form ever? That would be great - for cost and enviornment. Itend to use a little more than it recommends.
