Now a washing machine can clean and maintain stiff, grimy chaps or full seat breeches. Leather Therapy Laundry is a one-two cleaning punch for riding apparel and tack. Leather Laundry Solution cleans natural and synthetic suede or smooth leather and fabric. I'll admit, I was skeptical at first. I wanted to use this for my bridles, so I decided to use it on some old tack I had laying around the barn first. It worked GREAT! It would've taken me hours to clean all those bridles by hand. With our HE washer, the tack came out fairly dry, so it only took a little time outside to dry completely. I'll be using on my regular / show bridles soon, and I can't wait. It is a little pricey, but when you think about how much you can clean and how quickly, the price is worth it!

I finally just washed my half pad because it was dirty and gross looking. So I thought I would give the Leather therapy laundry solution set a try. Now I have never washed a sheep's wool half pad before. So I hoped for the best, When I got done washing it I put it in the dryer on air dry. When it was done I was so surprised, it was clean and soft it looked like it was brand new!.

If you wear breeches with a leather seat... you NEED this set! I have several pairs of FITS breeches as well as others with a full leather seat and this is the ONLY product I use on them. I have tried Woolite, but Leather Therapy gets them cleaner and the leather stays buttery soft. I also use the conditioner straight on the deer-skin patches to keep them soft and moisturized as my sweat can be rough on the leather in these hot summer months! As an added plus... you can use this set in the front-loading HE washers.

I use this on all my pads, but especially on my expensive fleece pads and it cleans them perfectly and the conditioner keeps the inside body of pads soft and supple. I used to use just the wash solution and it did a terrific job of cleaning but I found that the inside body of my pads were becoming stiff & hard after a few washings, so I tried the conditioner in conjuction with the wash solution and that made all the difference. Now they come out clean AND soft just like when I first bought them. Love this stuff!

I bought this product to wash my partially leather half chaps that I use for my schooling shows. They tend to get really dusty and the fabric panel on the back is hard to clean. I followed the directions on the wash and added the rinse to the last rinse cycle. I also applied the rinse to the wet half chaps when they came out of the wash. Perhaps I need to rub the rinse in more after the wash because it left streaks on my chaps. I am going to try this product again to wash my half chaps, but I wasn't as impressed as I had hoped. Also, I feel the containers are extremely small.

Leather Therapy is great for machine washing both leather seat breeches and sheepskin saddle pads. My three-year-old pad is still fluffy and beautiful thanks to Leather Therapy. The Laundry Rinse and Dressing is a bit difficult to completely dissolve in water, but otherwise this product is outstanding.

I love my suede half chaps, but cleaning them proved to be a real pain. I could never seem to get the sweat, dirt, and grime off of them without a lot of elbow grease and time. That is, until I found Leather Therapy! Now, all I do is throw them in the washing machine and they come out looking like new. What could be easier? Also, I cheat and put the rinse in the Downy ball, which seems to work well and avoids the problem of me missing the rinse cycle. I definitely recommend buying the set since the rinse is key to the chaps coming out soft. If you own any suede or leather-trimmed articles (and really, what rider doesn't?), then the Leather Therapy set is a must have for your laundry room.
