"This blanket came with my horse that I just purchased. I have the 150 gram fill, and it keeps my horse warm without keeping him to toasty! I've used it as a turnout blanket with a sheet on top, but it did get quite dirty even with a sheet on top so I will just be using it as a stable sheet from now on. The 84 fits my 16.2 warmblood perfectly and it very durable. The blanket stays in place and overall I'm very pleased with this product. BUY THIS PRODUCT :)"

"We love this blanket. We have a 15.1 hh quarter horse and are using this blanket as a warm layer inside a thick sheet. It has stayed amazingly clean this way! We love silky feel as opposed to a fleece that collects hair and probably makes the horses feel itchy. I think it will wash and dry with no problem. It provides warmth without the bulk. We keep it on her from 10 degrees to 35 degrees."

"Very good value in a stable blanket. We use both the medium and heavy weight on our horses and both keep them toasty but never sweaty. Shavings do not stick making clean up easy. We wash these a lot and they have held up well and fit a variety of shaped horses. I buy the same size as their turn out blankets and the fit is right on. I do wish the different weights were different colors but having them monogramed in different colors would help keep them straight."

"I'm very satisfied with this blanket. It's lightweight, so it makes it easy for me to use. It kept my mare quite comfortable through several single-digit nights. And it didn't take long for her to get it good and dirty: threw it in the washer at 7 a.m. and by 3 p.m. it was line dry. Washed up very nicely. I have used other Amigo products, so I bought this without hesitation and believe I'll get many years of good use from it."

"All my horses are on 24 hour turnout all winter and they are clipped for foxhunting. They have run-in sheds in their pastures. In past years changing blankets with the weather has been a chore. BUT now that we have the Amigo Insulator blanketing is a no worry cinch. They fit perfectly alone or under a turnout, do not rub, can be slid off from under a turnout when weather warms!!. I stick my hands under the insulator topped by turnout to warm cold fingers. It's really hot there even in single digit temps. They are washable, dryable and wear and wear and wear. Horses wear them like stable blankets in the trailer. It was my lucky day when I got my first one. Bet the horses thought so, too."

"I purchased this blanket after seeing how nice it was on a clients horse. The slick soft interior does keep coats shiny and there's minimal static. Exterior does not collect shavings and blankets keeps shaved horses nice and warm. The only thing I would like to see different is the addition of rear leg straps to prevent shifting. Otherwise A+"

"I do not even look at other brands any more.
The amigo medium weight blanket is ideal for typical southern ohio winters, the fit is great and leaves no rubs anywhere on my horses. I cannot complain about the price.

"I love this blanket liner. I bought one last year for my older horse, and another one this year for my new horse. They fit wonderfully on both of the horses, and they have the great fit that horsewear clothes usually have but they are less expensive than the Rambo stuff. They add the perfect amount of fill without being too bulky or heavy. I have horsewear turnouts, so they fit perfectly under them. They wash very easily, fit right into my household washer & dryer, and even the older blanket comes out looking brand new. Very happy with these and I would definitely purchase them again."

"I bought this blanket as a sort of last minute purchase for my lease horse. Living in southern Arizona, I didn't need a blanket that was too thick, but I did need one that would just keep my clipped horse warm. This does the job! My horse measures 78" to the middle of his tail, so I ordered the 75". It is a bit short but nothing too bad or unusable. I wish it came with hood ring options, leg straps, and longer chest clasps, but for the price this blanket is awesome! The navy color looks beautiful on my bay horse and he seems to be pretty comfortable in it. I wouldn't buy this product again, but I do like it! I can't comment on durability as I've had it for a short period of time, but my horse only wears it in his stall, which is in the barn, so I imagine it should have a long life. The material is quite nice overall and I'm happy with the purchase!"

"This blanket is lightweight, fits my horse very well and is comfortable for him - he gets cranky when you put on a blanket that he doesn't like. He has been all smiles for this one. Too soon after purchase to determine durability."

"This was my 1st Amigo and the medium is much lighter than I thought it would be. The blanket fits well and stays put even without the leg straps. The only thing I don't like is all the neck attachment rings. The blankets should be offered without them or have them on the outside. I think they could get cold and would be uncomfortable inside the neck when they are not being used."

"This is my 3rd. The first lasted 3 years, without a rub. Warm enough to make a difference yet not too warm to wear in the stable. The 2nd was fine until horse got turned out without a turnout sheet over it, for multiple days in a row. It's not meant for that. It's repaired now and this will be my spare."

"My horse has an extensive wardrobe. We have variable weather in Colorado, so one night might be 20*F, and the next night might be 40*F. This blanket has all the features and quality of HW and the Amigo line. I did replace the filet string with the covered tail strap for sale separately. I wish HorseWare would include it as standard on all their horse clothes that have a filet string."
