"I wanted an insulated, waterproof and brown winter coat and this one is exactly what I need. Plenty of pockets for treats, gloves and hoof pick; enough insulation to keep me warm when it's windy and below 30; a hood to keep rain off my head and keep my ears warm and it looks good to boot. It's very durable and fits really well. I love it!"

"Beautiful jacket. Great quality, however, the sleeves are short. I am 5'4", 125 lbs. The medium was too large for me, so I returned it to try the small. The small had a great fit in the body, but the sleeves didn't even reach to my wrist bone. Had to send it back..."

"I purchased this coat because I live in the Midwest where it's not uncommon for temperatures to only reach 15 degrees for long stretches of time. I didn't want that to get in the way of my training!
This coat kept me very warm - almost to the point of getting too hot. I think I can probably cut back on the layers and will still be comfortable.
I love all of the pockets, and the inside waist adjustment helps to create a more fitted look. In my opinion, it was well worth buying."

"I ordered a size small in this jacket and it is HUGE. Now I do understand that there is supposed to be some room to layer etc...but I could just about fit another person in there lol! It does say on the sizing info that small includes sizes 6-8 and I am usually a 2-4 so I guess this makes sense. They should make a smaller size :( I'm going to keep it anyhow...it seems pretty warm and comfy."

"I've never yet been disappointed by the quality of an Ariat garment, and this warm jacket is no exception. Bought size L, black (the color says charcoal so you might think dark gray, but it's pretty much black) and absolutely love it. True to size, all kinds of pockets everywhere including zippered handwarmer pockets, an inner waist drawstring for a nice fit, all the high-quality details expected from Ariat, and most of all a great fabric with a sort of tone-on-tone textured stripe look (it's hard to see that on the image of the black color, you can appreciate it better on the brown image) that is water-repellent and dirt-, debris- and stain-resistant. Styling is both cute and practical, with lightweight warmth and good shoulder mobility. I will wear the heck out of this jacket, love love it!"
