"I never thought I would say this but the black version is just too long. I am a fairly tall woman at 5'10" and yet this jacket was too long. It went beyond covering my butt (which is why I purchased it) by a good 2" and the split hem in the back is not quite long enough. Beyond that I ordered both a small and medium (as my past experience with Kerrits winter jackets was that they run a bit large) and both seemed to have a little difficulty with the zippers. The overall sizing was right on though, if you expect to layer. If you are planning to wear over a light shirt, I would suggest going a size lower. The jacket in general is a bit lighter than I expected. I also wish it had more pockets; there are only two and I love that the current jacket I use at the barn has one on the left of my chest, which I use for my cell phone. It just seems safer there, for some reason."

"When I first tried this jacket on....I was very dissapointed...I thought it was too long....but after wearing it around the house for a few days....I have changed my mind...I love it....It is definitely long and not sure that I would wear it riding....but it's a nice jacket...wish Kerrits would make the shorter version in black as well...."
