"Would agree with the other reviewer...purchased this to be able to introduce the curb with with the snaffle for my dressage mare! Has come in handy with some other uses, as well as lunging.
It's size for a larger horse, so my 15.3 TB needs a couple of extra holes punched in the leather.

"I purchased this when my horse began schooling 3rd level so we could play with adding a curb bit to the snaffle (bradoon) without having to go all out and purchase a double bridle right away. Not only did this make introducing him to two bits easy because it could be done in stages, we've found numerous other uses for a bradoon hanger. For example, sometimes we still like to lunge him in the lunging cavesson and surcingle and by putting this on first, we can still add side reins. It's also ideal for in-hand work, like teaching piaffe steps. I don't mean to go on and on about such a simple piece of equipment, but I also need to add that this is some of the finest leather I have in my tack room. I wish I could find a bridle made from this quality of leather!"
