Started my horse on smart gut 8 months ago, he seemed to be doing great so.... we took him off the supplement. This was a big mistake! He became very nervous and back to his worried self. Needless to say we started him back on the smart gut and he is back to a calm horse most of the time.

I'm not sure if SmartGut was the answer, but my very 'nervous' horse has been weaving and pacing less in his stall. He always had to be the first to be turned out and now he is standing waiting his turn. He does not have ulcers, this is not a calming agent, but since starting SmartGut two months ago he seems less irritable.

After my mare finished her treatment of Gastroguard I needed to put her on something that would keep the ulcer from returning. She has been on SmartGut for 3 months and she is doing really well. I am thrilled with the product and my horse looks and acts great!

Bought this for my WB/TB cross who can be anxious and seemed to have occasional minor stomach discomfort - acting touchy when being curried on his belly. Within a few days on this supplement, he was comfortable and has stayed that way- it's been a couple of months and he's had no more irritability or touchiness. . Coat looks great and he has a healthy "bloom". Seems very palatable, as he cleans up his feed with no problem. Have now added Smartdigest Ultra to his TB dam's diet, hoping it will help her better utilize her feed as well.

My mare is on the lean side she is very active. She has been on this for 30 days and i noticed that she is more comfortable about eating. She is starting to finish her meals. It is a bit pricey, but I will try to keep her on it.

I wanted a product to assist me in keeping my horse healthy after treating him for ulcers. I certainly didn't want him uncomfortable again and I didn't want to face that expense a second time around. One of the changes I made was to include Smart Gut Ultra to his daily SmartPak supplements. I researched other products but came to the decision that Smart Pak Ultra had everything I wanted him to receive and it was easy to feed. I sleep better at night and my horse is happy.

My horse is very picky but he's finally eating a supplement!
I put him on SmartGut Ultra because he internalizes his stress and mildly cribs. This has not entirely resolved the cribbing, but it's not as severe.
I have also noticed that he hasn't had the nasty black liquidy stuff that follows his otherwise normal manure. I do think his stomach is doing better all the way around.

My older TB started dropping weight, became very girthy and swishing his tail when riding. I called Smartpak and they suggested SmartGut Ultra.
We are only into our first month of SmartGut and he is already showing improvement. He is putting on some weight and looking happier. He can be picky but he eats SmartGut Ultra with no problems.
I highly recommend SmartGut Ultra for anyone wanting their happy horse back.

After my horse was diagnosed with ulcers I began the search for a complete supplement to manage his ulcers. SmartGut and smartgut ultra have the most complete list of ingredients! My horse loves them and I love that they are in pellets. My horse has shown no signs of ulcers, is finally to a great weight and has great bloom about him!

I moved my horse to a new farm. I knew he had a history of ulcers when showing so I had him on an UlcerGuard regiment a couple days before and after the move. He was fine for a couple of days. Then he became very spooky and excitable (rearing when leading). Which is not like him at all. I started him on SmartGut Ultra pellets and after a couple days I started to see my old horse back. And now that its been a whole week my kind quiet gelding is back! More than happy with the results.

I have used this product for two months and I must say I have not been inclined to dose with Ulcergard in the past 45 days. Historically, Ulcegard has been a part of my horses maintenance for many years. This product is worth a try. I have been pleasantly surprised.

My horse has a history of ulcers. I have had him on the smart gut ultra for a a out a month now, he has gained weight and seems very happy. Will see how it is when he goes back into training and hauling. I am very happy with it, he is a picky eater but loves this stuff he pushes my hand out of the way to get at it. I would recommend this product to anyone who has a horse prone to ulcers.
