The Panacur Powerpac is a 5 syringe set of Panacur with each syringe packing a ?double dose? of Fenbendazole (57g syringe). The Panacur Powerpac is designed to be given on 5 consecutive days to one horse. For Oral Use in all horses, foals, and ponies. For the control of large strongyles (Strongylus edentatus, S. equinus, S. vulgaris), small stongyles, pinworms (Oxyuris/equl), and ascarids (Parascaris equorum) in horses. to see a sample Dewormer Rotation Schedule.

"I was hesitant at first to give this to my expensive show horse, for fear she'd have a reaction to five days of repetitive treatment. (I once had a horse to reacted to a simple double-dose of pyrantel pamoate). With the Powerpac, there were no reactions at all, and she remained just as spunky as ever. This was easier to use than when I use normal one-syringe product at 2-month intervals. It must taste really good, because even on the 5th day (when I expected her to run the other way when she saw me coming), she willingly swallowed the whole powerpack dose. We got it all IN her, not ON both of us...every single day. I will definitely buy this product again."

"This program was recommended to me by a vet for my mare. It is easy to use. Unfortunately it doesn't have a flavor (such as apple) so the very picky horses may not put up with it. It effectively clears the worms out of my horse. Make sure to read the instructions"

"I've used Panacur faithfully for years now, on both my horses. I became a believer after I had taken a friends horse to Davis for a recurring medical issue.
During the mare's diagnostic, the vets mentioned that her tracks were as clean as they had ever seen and asked my friend what she was feeding and if she was using a daily wormer. She said she did not use a daily wormer, but had just completed the 5 day Panacur Powerpac.
Long story short, I've been using it ever since (as directed - twice per year), with great success. My horses take it easily and there are no side effects, even though I have a very picky Arab and a medicine "sensitive" Appy."

"I rescued a 15yo TB in November 2009. Horse was very thin with a body score of a 3. A friend and vet suggested the Panacue Powerpack. No bad side effects at all! (unless you count the horse hating the entire process) Very effective, horse has been able to gain weight easily since."

"I rescued a horse in February of 2009. He was very thin, long feet, bad teeth, etc. I wormed him, had his feet done, had his teeth floated and slowly tried to get the weight back on him using hay and a high fat grain. He came back quickly and in a matter of 2 months looked considerably better. But over the course of the summer he just didn't look as good as my other horse (shiny coat, bloom, etc) and he occasionally had very loose stools. Finally a couple people recommened I try the Power Pac. I did - and within one week I could already see a difference in him. I was amazed! No loose stools and he has put on a few pounds and just LOOKS better. Can't wait to see how he looks in another month!"

"This product does exactly what is says it does. POWER DOSE gets rid of the worms. I have an older warmblood cross. He gets ribbey now and then and I use this product in the summer and in the winter when suggested or if needed. Smart Pac has the best price with shipping and it arrived for me the next day."

"I haven't done another fecal exam yet because my vet is on vacation, but my horse is looking better and her energy level is picking back up so I do believe the powerpac killed the worms in her! She had close to 500 when this whole thing started, even though I had her on a worming schedule. We will see if it killed enough off the first time around. Let's hope! Would recommend it to someone that had a huge worm problem with their horse!! :)"

"My veterinarian recommended using the Panacur Powerpac once a year. At first, I thought this is expensive for a worming regimen. Then upon receiving it, I realized the tubes are for up to a 2500 lb. horse, so one Power Pac was enough for both my geldings! It's easy to use and they have both been thriving ever since!"

"I would highly recommend uisng this product a couple of times a year in you normal rotation. I used it 2 weeks after Ivermectin and still found dead strongyles in manure after doing a 5 day PowerPac. And of course order it from Smartpak they have great customer service!"

"I have an easy keeper QH, this spring her coat looked very dry, she had dandruff, and started to drop weight which is very unlike her. I've had a very consistent rotational deworming program, but decided to try the PowerPac. It has been 10 days since the last dose, and already she is putting her weight back on, very shiny, her dandruff is gone, and she is brighter all around. I am very happy with the results of this product."

"Although I worm my elder horse every month, it seems that I have to "power worm" him with the 5 day Panacur each year. I keep a very clean barn and the pasture is mucked each day, he is feed good hay, Equine Senior and supplements. However, it seems that to help him with his over all health and weight maintenance this "power" treatment is a huge benefit. If all else has failed with your old guy, give this a try."

"My mare is happiest living out but as a result she is exposed 24/7 to the poop of other horses. Every spring I use the 5 day Panacur Power Pack and it gives us a clean slate as she sheds out her winter coat. Since using this product she has grown in a beautiful dappled coat and seems at her optimum health. I would recommend this to anyone, especially those people whose horses are exposed to lots of other horses or who live out."
