"At a barn a person gets to see a lot of clippers circulating and I'm always glad that I have the Wahl Moser Arco clippers when it's time to clip fetlocks, bridle paths and faces. I have a Haflinger so let me tell you, many a small clipper has failed when trying to clip through his bridle path. Don't even get me started with his fetlocks. But once I bought these, I can clip both his fetlocks and bridle path with ease. Does not heat up and the battery life is impressive. Really excellent clippers, I recommend them to anyone who wants a light, quiet, durable pair of small clippers."

"I bought these to use clipping bridle paths and fetlocks on our horses. I was tired of being "tied" to an outlet with my old clippers (Wahl Iron Horse). I stuck with the Wahl brand because I LOVE my Iron Horse clippers- over ten years old and still going strong, even after using them to trace clip a couple of horses. Not impressed at all with the Arco clippers- brand new, out of the box, I don't think the blades would have cut through warm butter. I'm not even sure I want to spend the money on new blades for these!"

"I have an Andis AGC super 2 speed that I have been using to clip my Standard Poodle. It is a great clipper, but I cannot get the feet right with it. When I used a 30 blade, the feet looked ragged, and no matter how careful I was to switch out the blades, I still seemed to leave a raw area or two. Puppy was understandably less than happy to have his feet done. I visited the Smartpak store and held both these and the Mini Arco, and decided that the minis would not hold up to big poodle feet, so feeling really guilty about spending all this money, I bought these. Wow! I charged them up, went to the dog, and clipped his feet. He just stood there not caring. The blades never heated up, and the clip was beautiful! I clip his feet to avoid mud all over the sofa (yeah, that is where he hangs out). Poodle fur just traps the mud and carries it into the house until it dries. Clipping his feet also avoids snow balls in the winter. Thank you, thank you, thank you. It took a big gulp to spend this much, but these clippers are one of those products that make your life so much easier. Wahl has a great rep, so I can count on them to stand behind these. I have a pair of Stable Pros that I have had for 10 years that I use on my horse, and they are still going strong!"

"So far, I love this little clipper. Since it's fairly quite and cordless, the Arco has been wonderful for helping my clipper-shy pony accept clipping. Great for clipping muzzle, ears, under the face, bridle path, and leg fuzzies, and the adjustible blade feature is convenient and easy to use. The fact that it comes with two batteries is especially convenient; I keep both charged incase one dies mid-clip. One thing I would note, though, is that when I was researching this model prior to purchasing it, I noticed that some said it would they body clip with it occasionally. While this might be doable, I wouldn't buy the clipper bodyclipping in mind. With only one speed, approx. 1hr of battery life, and the clipper's relatively small size, you wouldn't get too far. I'll be saving my A5 for the bigger jobs and using the Arco for everything else."

"I use this to trim all of my horses faces and ears at shows (sometimes 15 at a time) and they never get too hot and area always super quiet and work really well. I recently just lost the charger base somewhere so I think it might be time for a new pair."

Lightweight and Quiet

"I bought the Moser Arco Clippers for my horses, I only do bridle paths and whiskers, no body clips. The adjustable blade makes it easy to clip close or not. Last week I decided to clip my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel & after a few attempts to my surprise he no longer needs to go to the groomer! It takes a bit of practice to decide which blade adjustment to use but the clippers are so quiet & cool, he just lays down & waits for me to be done!"

The cure for clipper aversion!

"I always asked someone else to clip my horse because I always made a mess of the job. I thought it was me! I finally junked my heavy, old, corded clippers for these and what a difference! I still need practice but maneuvering around the ears, the legs and the bridle path is easy. And the clippers are so quiet, my horse didn't even flinch. I'd recommend these to anyone."

"These clippers are wonderful! I can't say enough good things about them. They are very lightweight and don't get very hot even with extended use. They are so quiet that even my particular Thoroughbred didn't mind having his ears done. The battery pack enables me to move with him easily when he's fussing without having to worry about being attached to the wall. They come with two battery packs that have a 1 hour duration and only take an hour to fully charge, so you never run out of power! Another great pick SmartPak!"
