"I needed a vitamin E supplement to add to my mare's ration balancer that didn't have too much selenium in it. She was already getting enough selenium but this supplement is cheaper than a strictly vitamin E supplement and fortunately doesn't have too much selenium to put her in danger of toxicity. She eats the alfalfa-based crumbles just fine without any grain. The only thing I don't like is the scoop - the dose is 1/2oz which is half the provided scoop. I wish there was a 1/2 mark or the scoop was small enough to make it 1/2oz. I worry that I could mis-measure and give her too much, getting too close to her selenium limit. I will try SmartProtect next time because it's a good-priced source of E (and other goodies) without the additional selenium that she doesn't need."
"My clyde/tb cross needed his diet changed. I went onto FeedXL and entered all of his intake (forage, grain, supplements, turnout, etc.). The report showed that he was lacking in the Vitamin E and Selenium portion of his diet. I popped onto SmartPak and ordered the bucket (wanted to make sure he liked it). The Vita-E & Selenium Crumbles have been great! It's comforting to know that he is getting all of the nutrients, vitamins and minerals that he needs each and every day."

"My mare is chronically muscle sore and generally needs E and Sel in her diet, so I put her on an E-Sel supplement. The first one I tried, she would NOT eat! She will eat this product readily, even out of my hand! It was a relief to find a product that would give her the benefits and she would actually eat it! The price is great, too, for the quality and benefits."

"My horse turns her nose up to just about everything I buy so I was very pleased to look into her feeder and see her supplements were all gone. I think that this is a great value for my money because I don't have to use very much."

"I have started my mare on this product as she has had issues of tying up a few times since I have owned her. So far after a month of using the product, we have started working her and it seems to be helping. She has not had any problems of tying up so far. Hopefully we can get to the show ring without any problems in the future!"
"This supplement is awesome for it's price. Living in Upstate New York where E & Selenium is very low to none in the soil it is important to supplement this in our horses diets. I have tried Vitaflex E and Selenium supplement and was not as happy with the price of paying for it. It was so expensive. When I compared the labels this product is just as efficient and less expensive. My picky eater will eat this supplement right up! Great buy for the quality and the price."
"I have the pickiest mare. Ever. She needs to have VitE/Sel in her diet and this is the only supplement that she will eat. She will eat it right from my hand as if it were a treat. I'm so glad I found this product."

"Horses seem to like the taste and the price was right. Would like the scoop to be the size of the recommended 1/2 ounce instead of guessing. Fortunately, I had a scoop left over from another selenium product that was the correct size."

"I had tried everything for a "stiff" mare. From joint supplememts, oil, added fat, etc. Adding vit e and selenium added with mag 3000 really seemed to do the trick!"
"Selenium and Vitamin E are important in keeping your horse healthy. I found this to be a great product and my horse gobbles it out of my hand!"

"My mare's vitamin e and selnium levels were lower than a new born foal after treatment by a vet I had to keep her levels consistant, This product keeps her levels up and she feels great and with Smartpaks I never have to worry about her getting the incorrect amount"
"I tried this for 120 days and while my horse gobbled it up I really didn't see any difference in him. I am taking him off it next month, and will watch for any changes."

"I've tried several selenium supplements and found the crumbles to be the most palatable for my horse. He isn't the pickiest but the powders all seem to fall to the bottom of the feed bin as boarding stables just don't have the time to mix in all supplements, while the crumbles are all gone after each meal."

"My picky eater Icelandic horse Baldy doesn't like the taste. He doesn't seem to know that this is a good supplement as horses can easily be deficient in vitamin E! His pasture mate, Fagri, will eat almost anything and eats this OK. Naturally, he is in appearance and energy, more nutrtionally sound than Baldy and likely doesn't need this as much as Baldy. Even sweets on the crumbles hasn't encouraged Baldy so be aware that if you have a picky eater, he may not like this either."
