We have been using this product for our heeler for the last few years. It's always a pain to have to get more from the vet's office every time...and to remember that you need more! Since my horse already receives SmartPaks, it's so easy to just include the Interceptor along with her regular shipments. Thank you for making life a little simpler!

My dogs have had no problem with heartworm disease, and one is 12 and the other is 8. I have to believe this works well. They take their pills monthly throughout the year, so they only need bloodwork done every other year. The price is not excessive, and they like to take it.

I've had very good luck with Interceptor! My dogs will spit out most medications, but not Interceptor! It is also very reasonably priced when comparing to other heartworm medications.

We have been using this product to successfully prevent heartworms in our two dogs for several years now. Never a problem with the dogs accepting the small tablet monthly. I cannot say anything negative about Interceptor, except my dogs might say they wish it were bigger, chewier and lasted longer!

I don't know about you but my dog has to take pills for allergies and other things. He has gotten good at spotting the pills hidden in food and I hate forceably opening his mouth to jam a pill in it then blowing gently into to his nose to make him swollow. I just feel like a mean person even thou I know it is for his own good. BUT with his wormer he eats it like a treat. It is one pill I don't mind giving.

This product seems to do what it is intended to do as both of my dogs have used it for multiple years and have been in good health.

I have a border collie and don't use Heartguard due to the possiblity of the MDR1 gene mutation. I have had her on Intercepter for years and have never had any problems with heartworms or other worms and she takes it easily. I would definitely recommend this product for anyone one that has a dog with this mutation or a possibility of the mutation.
