Our palomino seriously injured her leg in April 2010 and had to be placed on stall rest with light walking for 18 months. Initially, she became easily spooked after her injury when we walked her. She never had this problem before. A friend recommended Quietex and it worked much better than we expected. Once we started her on Quietex, our horse was much calmer and it became easier to exercise her. We include it in her daily supplements and she likes the taste of it. I'm happy to report that she healed just as we hoped she would. We are going to continue using Quietex for the rest of her life.

Five years ago my horse was attacked by a pit bull while I was riding in a local park. The attack lasted 20 minutes and covered a mile, not something anyone will ever forget. Rehab was a long haul but I got a whole lot more of his brain than I had any right to expect. The veterinarian/animal behaviorist recommended Quietex and it is still part of lives. This is a great product, takes the edge off his anxiety.

I've been using this product in my barn since 2009. It works really well for my antsy Western Pleasure gelding and my OTTB Hunter. Doesn't make them drowsy, but helps to keep their mind on their job, not everything around the arena. Will continue to use. Price is great.. shipping was fast. Very happy.

I've been using Quietex Powder for years and it makes a noticeable difference with my TB. It does just enough to take the edge off, but doesn't diminish his performance in any way. The product is not meant to be a substitute for training so my expectations reflect this. I can tell the difference when I'm using it and when I'm not. My horse is less excitable when I use Quietex.

I've tried Quietex before on a nervous tb mare with excellent, lasting results, so I decided to try it again on my young QH mare in training. She was just so full of energy and over-enthusiasm she just couldn't concentrate or control her own body, was so excited she couldn't figure out where to put her feet! She seemed to want to move in all 4 directions at once, and progress was at a standstill. After a month on Quietex powder, she still has plenty of energy and enthusiasm, but she is now able to move calmly and evenly, with plenty of swing to her stride and concentrate on her rider, and is making great progress. It has made her a much happier, safer, and better horse.

This product took the edge off my horse. He is slower to react and much calmer. He still has all his energy, just much more focused. I have used the paste as well with wonderful results. This product will be a staple in my feed room! It is fantastic!

I use this product for my Morgan mare in combination with consistent daily work. She went from worried about the rider and even the saddle pad to comfortable with a rider putting leg on for leg yeilds. She is pretty picky about things that seem like medications but licked the feed tub when she gets this supplement.

I noticed that this product did help my horse when given to him on the day of shows since he can be a handful. Yet, it did nothing with his attitude and I am still looking for a product that will help with this major problem. Overall, this product doesn't cost much and I do notice a much calmer horse.

I got this after a friend recommended it to me. My mare had been extremely jumpy/spooky at things that never bothered her before, including saddling! Had been gradually getting worse since she had a foal 3yrs ago. She used to be virtually bomb-proof. After having her vet checked I decided to try this. I have noticed a big improvement in her and so has everyone else! She's more lovey and less spooky. Still have a few things to 'relearn' but I would highly recommend it. Inexpensive and she eats it with no problems!

I have tried this product over the years and I have found that the results vary with different breeds and different horses. Some really seem to be affected and others it makes no change at all. I am always willing to test it though to see which ones I can use it on.

I have used this on a couple of horses and had satisfactory results. It knocks the edge off of their nerves and helps them focus better. It also helps those who are spooky to realize that everything is not a threat to them; it slows their reaction time considerably, as well. As far as palatability, I have had no problem. One picky horse sniffed it before gobbling it down. I do not have to worry about the considerable amount of powder being left on the bottom of the bucket because I feed wet beet pulp. It is not my first choice of calmers, but it works well when needed.
