My farrier is always so impressed with my horse's feet and she always asks what I am using--I always have the same answer: HB15 and Hoofsaver lotion. His shoes always hold and look great. The only reason I didn't give this a 5 star is that he is getting fussier as he gets older and doesn't always eat well with supplements in his grain. Not sure if he is disliking this or Cetyl HA though.

My 21 year mare has been barefoot for 4 years and her hooves are in great shape. Before using HB15, she couldn't keep her shoes on from one trim to the next. Making the decision to have her barefoot and to use HB 15 has turned her hooves around. I still put boots on her for front hooves for trail riding, only because of the large stones on our trails. Her back hooves are so strong now that she doesn't need boots.

I had previously used this on my Thoroughbred gelding who came with bad feet that didn't hold up to riding well (cracking, lost shoes), and it worked great. Once I got him on a good diet, got his feet grown out and strong, I stopped using it and have not had problems since. Recently, I rescued a horse I previously owned, a now 21 year old paint, who had gotten severe white line disease. The farrier told me it would be a year til his feet were grown out (have to grow out all the dead hoof wall) so I decided to get a hoof supplement in hopes of speeding up the process. I do believe it works, he began the supplement in august, and already most of the bad hoof has grown out. Even in winter when they say hoof growth slows down he has noticeable growth at just 4 weeks since his last trim. I would say in a total of 8 months it will be all gone instead of 12. Not bad!

I have tried different products to help the growth of my horses' hooves. I really like like HB 15, as she eats the pellet form easily. The ingredients are just for the hooves, not lots of other stuff that might unbalance the diet I have for her. So it is a safe product for me to feed her.

I purchased this product because my horse’s feet were cracking and chipping all the time. Since he has been on this product his hooves have been in fantastic shape. The farrier can not get over the improvement. Also, I purchased the 7lb bucket and it lasts forever.
