"With a herd of 21 horses and growing having a bottle of "Bute" on hand is comforting. We just grind it up and put in a mixture of a grain or some sweet feed to get it passed the "sniff" test, usually without any problems.
I wouldn't be without it!"

"When my gelding got hurt, my vet prescribed stallrest and Bute for 2 days and my horse felt better right away. I certainly hope that he will never need it again, but if he does, I would definetely feel comfortable giving him Bute."

"When I first received the flavored bute, the container didn't say it was flavored, but when I opened it, to my nose it smelled like orange instead of apple. Since Lucky needed it STAT, I gave it to him mixed in his feed and was very surprised that he didn't mind a bit. In fact, he seemed more eager to scarf his food! I was very pleased with the speed with which my order was received and the communication between the Pharmacy and myself. Awesome! Thank you very much!"

"I like the convenience of the powdered phenylbutazone. It saves a lot of time. It smells good, but still has a bitter after taste. My 22 year QH will eat it sprinkled on his grain if he has enough time. If he is distracted by green grass, he will pick the grass."

"The product seems to be more orange flavor than the apple flavor I was wanting. The product doses at 10mg of powder to equal 1 mg. of butte. Because of this, the scoop size is bigger than what I get from the vet. So per 2.2lbs tub, there are about 100 1mg. doses. Still not a bad deal at Smart Pak's price."
