"I have tried just about every psyllium product out there, including one made by my vet. My QH is so picky he wont eat it, I have tried putting sweetner in it, water it down, nothing works. This pellet is great, I put it in with his flax based vitamin and Omegatin, he eats it all up. Thank God! I have sandy soil and he is kept on a dry lot, so there is no way to keep all his feed off the sand. I feel good about giving him a product that I know is working and he will consume."

"If u have young horses I would say the Natural Psyllium pellets work great but if you have an older horse I would say you would want to use the Psyllium powder."

"The packaging did not open properly (had to use pliers b/c the plastic was brittle and broke before it reached the end) and does not remain closed. More importantly my horse would not eat this after one bite. That bite was returned as a wad of something about the consistency of clay with some sand mixed in. This horse does not normally quid."

"For our stables, we throw hay on their sandy paddock. With many horses, this makes delivering hay easier. This product is cheaper than SandClear and works effectively. Never had to call the Vet or buy any other products to treat Colic. We buy the largest size to save money and the easy open lid is also a perk."

"I use this product upon Veterinary advice of 2 times per week instead of one weekly purge at the end of every month. They actually get one more dose per month and it is easier on the system. This product is consistent and effective and does no harm.

"This pelleted formulation must be easier to eat in grain and may taste better than granules or other brands--my horse generally quits eating psyllium granules half-way thru the dosing week, but ate these pellets consistently for the week in grain or sprinkled on top of pre-soaked hay cubes."

"My horse has coliced many times, with two colics ending in surgery. My vet suggested I give him psyllium fiber daily. I have had my horse on Equi Aid for over 6 months, and since he has been on it, he has had only one colic experience that resolved almost immediately. Although, I have made other feed changes, I attribute giving my horse Equi Aid Psyllium as one of the major contributions in helping my horse's digestion."

"Because I am a Natural horse-person, I strongly believe in my horse eating from the ground. Living in the desert, this means he nibbles up bits of sand often. I would never think to not have him on Equi-Aid -- sand colic is NOT something I want to mess with! He is a bit of a picky eater so he doesn't inhale his pellets when this is mixed in, but it is only a week's worth of doseage. He doesn't have to tolerate it long. I would like to see this product condensed further so the amount is smaller and perhaps someday come in powder form."

"If you live somewhere with sandy soil, I highly recommend using this once a month. After moving to Florida, my horse suffered several small bouts of colic until we started using Equi-Aid--we haven't had a problem in the two years since. Highly palatable--I haven't met a horse that won't eat it."

"I love this product! I live in pretty sandy conditions and my horse likes to put his food on the ground, so this has really helped as a preventative. My horse likes it so much that he'll eat it plain! I hope more people discover this. I’m glad I did!"
