"I struggled for 5 years trying to reduce my geldings weight and get him more energetic. the vet checked him years ago for possible metabolic disorders and nothing showed up positive. Out of desperation my vet finally agreed to try Thyroid medication. In addition to that I upped his hay to a higher protein and I now have a very energetic horse who has lost 100 lbs. since his exam one year ago!"

"My horse had no energy, felt like noone home. Absent underneath me. After blood test showed lower end of normal hypo thyroid vet recommended to start with the lowest dosage. But that was too much so we split it in 1/2 once a day not twice as that is an option too. It worked great!! Start slowly with your vet's recommendation as when too much , my horse was very agitated and high as a kite. When the dosage was worked out, it worked really well."

"We have a horse who has been on this for a few years, because he kept foundering. He had a lot of trouble with getting weight off. This supplement has done wonders for him, and he'll stay on it. I highly recommend this supplement, especially through SmartPak, it's the cheapest place to get it!"

"My vet put my overweight horse on one scoop a day of Thyro-L to help boost his metabolism...within a couple of weeks, the difference was evident. He had a very cresty neck, and big belly (vet gave him a body score of 8.5) - After a couple of weeks his neck is not as cresty, his belly cant be seen from behind anymore and he seems to be well on his way to a healthy weight...."

"Even though I had my horse tested years ago for Thyroid levels (which were fine) he was never able to lose weight and had fat pockets at the shoulders, ribs and tail head. He also had no energy and we've been stuck at 1st level for 3 years! Then I asked my vet who was here to do teeth what he thought about giving him thyroid and he thought it wouldn't hurt to try. Within two weeks I had a different horse! He's lost most of the fat pockets and his energy level has tripled! He has lost some weight but I still have to limit his pasture time, but he's turned into an athlete and we're off to second level this summer."

"My beautiful 18 year old TWH had become sluggish and not very responsive. My vet took blood samples to determine his Thyroid function and found it to be on the cusp of low normal/low. Within days of starting this product my horse was back to being the horse I have always know and loved."

"This product has made a huge difference in my horse. He is much happier and has his energy back. He has also lost a great deal of weight. My vet was commenting about three weeks after we started on it about how much weight he had lost and how good he was looking, and we hadn't changed anything except adding the Thyro-L. I love this product and it is relatively in expensive, especially for the results you get."

"I am not sure this product is helping or not. Maybe I'v not been using it long enough yet. Obese mare has reoccuring bouts of laminitis. She gets just enough grain to mix med on top and is on grass/timothy hay. I have purchased a grazing muzzle to use in spring. She has a small pasture that she is let out on only small amounts of time. Spring will tell."

"My horse "Juni" has been on this product for 18 months. She is an icelandic and was diagnosed with Navicular. My vet put her on Thyro-L right away. Also I ordered Quiessence for her. "All I can say is My Pony will be on Thyro-L for life. Do to what I believe was a quick and misguided diagnosis for a vet long ago I am bound to this product. Unfortunately by the time Bear was correctly diagnosed(as insulant resistance) his thyroid could no longer function on it's own : ( His body had become dependent on the Medication. I do not blame the product Actually it dose what it should and it dose work. I have Know issue with Thyro-L. I just wish my Pony did not have to take it. I guess my only warring to people using this product is be sure your horse or pony really has a Thyroid problem & know that once on it for a long enough time or given to much their Thyroid may not be able to function properly with out it."
