"These buckets are far superior to using "recycled" 5 gallon pails. They hold up well to all the abuse that the weather and the horses can dish out, such as freezing full of water in the winter or use by a horse as a scratching post. The flat back also makes them easier to carry when full of water and easier and nicer to hang from a post or wall than a a round bucket."

"I've used Fortiflex buckets for about 5 years...I've got three eye hooks on the wall of each of my stalls, so that I can hang up to 3 buckets on the hottest of days. These are very sturdy, quality buckets. Every once in a while--probably after about a year--I'll have buckets that start to warp. I think this happens with any water buckets though. When I replace the warped ones, I re-use them as garden totes! Great to put tools for yard work in to carry around the yard, so even after they are no longer water buckets, they are still useful!"

"My gelding has two water buckets in his stall... one is a Fortiflex and the other is another brand. The Fortiflex bucket is the only one he drinks out of! Either his highness is offended by the color of the other bucket (it's pink) or he's just got good taste, but he'll be getting another Fortiflex bucket soon to replace the other."
