Love this mounting block, and so does my horse! It took a few rides for Leuk to become accustomed to standing next to it, but he learned rather quickly that it prevented Ms. Lady from tugging at his mane to mount! It's also a saddle-saver, as I found myself grabbing the cantle to mount, possibly damaging my saddle's tree. Light, sturdy, easy to grab and move, and the SmartPak folks had it shipped early from the manufacturer FOR FREE, as I had opted to include it with my monthly order. Just one of the many reasons I enjoy doing business with SmartPak.

My other one(don't know brand) was heavier and stayed put a little better up against the door going into living quarters oif gooseneck. This one will probably be durable and isn't smooth which I appreciated but is kinda lightweight and not quite as wide as I would like.

I bought this particular mounting block as an extra for the horse trailer and I couldn't be happier: sturdy, yet light to carry, compact for trailer storage, yet perfect to mount. I highly recommend this product.

I find all the mounting blocks a bit pricey, but picked this one because I thought it had storage space and the top opened. It does not. It just appears that way in the picture. I would still recommend it as it seems solid enough to last a long time!

I bought this block to store in my trailer. Perfect size and a beautiful royal blue color. It is light and easy to move around. Burlingham plastic is top of the line in durability. Nothing flimsy about this mounting block.

I got this about 2 weeks ago, just as winter hit Ohio full force so I have only been able to use it one time so far. I can tell, however, that I will be very pleased with it and am actually considering, given the great price, ordering a second one.
I got mine in red and it is a great color, not a washed out, orange-y looking red like some are. It is lightweight, but not so light I worry about it collapsing or anything like that. Just light enough that it is very easy for me to move it around to put it away. It has a hand hold in the back to make it simple to lift and move.
I am thinking about ordering a second one to keep up in the arena instead of moving it back and forth, since the price is so much lower for how fine the product is. I had not expected this much quality for the price. Great product and comes in lots of colors!
