I like this attachment because since there is a little bit of pressure on both sides of the halter (or bridle) rather than one side only, I imagine it is more comfortable, and less irritating, to the horse. For this reason, I prefer to longe with this attachment on.

This product for lunging is unnecessary. If you pass the lunge-line through one side of the bit then the other and hook it back to itself you don't need to spend this money. I was about to buy one of these, I lunge my mare all the time, and then a trainer I was observing showed me how to hook it so it works both directions without an extra piece to lose or pay for or hook on.

I use this after I come off the cross country course I use this to walk my horse and attach one snap to each ring of the bit and clip on my lead rope to the ring in the center. It's flexible, durable, and the leather quality is rather nice.

We actually purchased this item to have something sturdy to hook two of our German Shepherd Dogs together to walk them. This product was perfect!! Together our dogs weigh approx 180 lbs so we needed something durable and flexible with their movement. The quality of leather, stitching and findings were all excellent and we have used this as well with our horse in its intended purpose. Extremely happy with product and performance!
