I used this product years ago to help put weight on an older TB that was not thriving and was very picky about his food. The changes were amazing in his coat and his attitude in general was much brighter and he never hesitated to eat it. Nearly 20 years later, I decided to purchase it again for a similar situation, this time an older mare who was not a big grain eater but had a hard time this year being new to the long cold New England Winter. The results were the again amazing! She has begun to pick up weight and her coat has improved and her appetite as well. Great product that I have been recommending for years!

I purchased this product about 2 mths ago because I read that it could improve my horse's poor quality hooves. Unfortunately, I have not noticed that he is growing new hoof at the coronary band any differently than with any other product I have used in the past (and believe me I have tried many). I will keep using this product for another 2 mths just in case it needs a bit more time to improve the quality of the new hoof growth.

This is one of the best and most natural supplements for horse intestinal health that I've tried. My horses gobble it down--it smells pleasant (kind of like sweet cured hay). I like the pelleted form and the fact I can buy it in hinged-lid buckets that are easy to open and shut with one hand. If you have a hard keeper or you're transitioning on and off pasture, this stuff is gold. I credit ABCs plus from preventing colic after my crew has escaped a couple of times.

We started feeding A.B.C.'s 4 years ago when with in 24 hours, both of our yearlings developed severe impaction colic from coastal hay. They spent a touch and go week at the vet hospital. It is a miracle they both survived! On the recommendation of a friend, we started all of our horses on the daily A.B.C.'s. Even the picky eaters don't mind the pellets and we have not had a single bout of colic in 4 years! It has been a life saver for us. Love it and never miss a day!

I have a 23yr old Thoroughbred that has been used extensively in showing,schooling and raceing. I purchased this horse at the age of 5 off the track and to say he's been around the block a few times is an understatement. In 1998 my schooling instructor at NorthWest College introduced me to this supplement inorder to help him get as much as he could out of the compressed hay cubs and rolled oats the school was supplying. I have never seen him flurish and perform better than when he is on this supplement. He never should have come off it ; I'm impressed Smartpak carries it and am so glad they do.
The older horses ( 15 + years) on the farm will be on it as long as Smartpak carries it.

I have been using ABC Plus for several years on my old timers (30+) and am convinced that it helps them stay healthy . I also use it on my endurance mules and horses and believe it has kept them from having gastric problems.

I had an older Trakehner I started to use this product on to help him maintain his weight at the suggestion of a friend. It was a success! I began to use ABC'S Plus on my other Trakehner after two serious bouts of colic. Since using it he has not had any other serious bouts! I have looked in to other products, but am a firm believer in "If it isn't broke don't fix it!"

This supplement always improved my older horse's coat when I put her on it. She always looked more healthy when she was on Plus. I've never had horses dislike the taste, either. I would highly recommend it, especially for older or stressed horses.

I've had my horse on this product for over 10 yrs now. It has helped maintain my aged horse's health. I recently bought a new horse, (17 yr arab) who was underweight. Within a month I could see a change in his coat and hoof condition.

My horses eat this right up, no problem. I have my horses on a concentrated feed, so maximizing their use of all they eat is paramount to the feed supplying them with the nutrients they need. This product certainly does that as my horses are healthy and shiny proving that a hay-based diet can be successful, especially when paired with this supplement.
