To ensure my saddles and bridles are safe and locked we purchased the Burlington Saddle Trunk. The trunk has plenty of space & will be great for away shows because of the built in wheels! For reference the main section fits my two H/J saddles, a half pad, two bridles, two girths, a rain sheet, anti sweat sheet, one wrap set & about 10 spray bottles. I can also fit several baby pads, a lunge line, four polo wraps and front & hind boots in the top section. Additional handy features include a side rack, which I hang my coolers on, & an additional saddle rack that attaches to the top for when I tacking up. The saddle racks are nice quality are better shaped for the saddle apposed to typical saddle racks. My only complaint would be that I wish it was a few inches wider, because there is very little room between where my bridles hang & where my saddles sit. Overall great buy!

This trunk is huge! The pictures do not do it justice. There is an abundant amount of storage inside the main area and plenty of storage for shampoo, fly spray...etc on the door, but there is also a large, compartmentalized top that can hold personal items, wraps, treats as well a mirror and whiteboard on the lid. The trunk is heavy and well-made and being verticle takes up less space than a traditional blanket chest which is wonderful since most tack rooms are packed. Although this is an expensive piece, it does keep your valuable blankets and tack clean, dry, hung and safe.

Very fast delivery! Tough easy care hard plastic. This sturdy tack locker holds more than I expected and is very well thought out. Even when filled, it's surprisingly well balanced to move around on it's back wheels. Just out of curiosity, I placed my Cir*leY Arab Flex-Lite trail saddle on the top saddle rack to see if the door could close and it did! (But it would never hold a bigger heavy western saddle.) This locker works perfectly with my dressage saddles and with only my main saddle on the top rack, I have plenty of room below for my horse's bathing stuff in a pail, extra dressage saddle pads, quarter sheet, bridles, helmet, halters and lunge line. In the summer, I could fit his light rain sheet and fly sheet/mask as well. The door holds tall bottles and the top divided space holds ALL his grooming, braiding, clipping, wound salve jars, sport boots and extra spare parts. I'm amazed how much this tack locker can hold and keep organized with easy access to everything.

I bought this trunk several years ago while campaigning my horse for the world championships. I then loaded it with four saddles and shipped it back and forth across the country with the horse. It held up very well and I was amazed at how much it was able to hold.

Having never ordered something this expensive or big online, I was impressed with a number of different facets of the experience and the product! First, delivery was very quick! I happened to get my trunk only about two weeks after it was ordered. Second, the product has a number of great features - a removable additional saddle rack can be put on the front when the trunk is opened for easy access or tack cleaning. There is a very handy towel rack/saddle pad rack on the outside - loved that! There is also a lot of extra storage on the inside - two saddles, room for tall boots, bridle racks; it really does the trick for locking up your valuables at a show. It is a plastic trunk but it seems very well put together. Love the white board and they even send along a dry erase marker! All in all, it has been a nice product and I look forward to using it for many years, and it really seems to be a good value! It's also great that SmartPak doesn't charge any extra shipping!
