"I have used the Rambo rugs for a long time. I bought this Rhino in Lite to get a light weight turnout for the spring weather. I didn't want to spend a ton of money on a Rambo and I'm glad I didn't. This Rhino has a great fit and I love the pattern--very stylish. My gelding wears it all day in turnout and it never slips. Great turnout."

"I purchased this sheet for my 4y/o Irish gelding who is turned out 24/7 (except in thunderstorms). It fits him great with room to grow so I won't have to buy a new one next year, and it has held up well so far. I use the neck cover with it and the outfit keeps him warm and dry in the cold fall rains. I also got the interchangeable liner, which I haven't used yet, but seems to be easy to use and fastens securely to the sheet. If you want to stick with Horseware products, I have found the Rhino line to be a quality alternative to Rambo and more durable than Amigo."

"I live in Florida and bought the Lite blanket for my warmblood as a winter blanket. I bought it two winters ago and it has held up great. He was turned out solo, but even so gets into mischief in the paddock and it has held up perfectly - no tears or snags. And perfect weight for Florida winters. I would definitely buy another. He is big and I bought the 84, though it does hang a bit low, I could have gotten the 82. Great product."

"I have only had this blanket for about a month but I am very happy with it. The fit is great and I have a large warmblood. This blanket doesn't seem to leave rubs at all. It's also a great weight blanket to use. Even when it gets in the 50's he doesn't get hot and when it gets cold at night it keeps him warm enough. I also purchased the Heavy Wug which I have not had to use yet but I really like the fit."

"The material used for this blanket is not very densely woven, and so somehow gets big snags in it. The medium weight, which I purchased, is also quite thin for a medium. The fit is good, and I like the buckle design, but overall, the quality of the fabric and durability seems lower than I would expect for the Horseware brand."

"I purchased this blanket two years ago to replace my pony's first Rhino (which was bought in 1998). My horses are stabled at night during the winter, but are otherwise have open access to pasture and this blanket lasted 10 seasons! These blankets are tough, fit well, keep the elements out, and almost last forever.
They seem to fit more narrow-chested horses best, but Horsewear has many different blanket options so you're bound to find one that fits your horse. Because of the 3" increment sizing, I'd recommend rounding up in size."

"I purchased the Rhino Original Turnout Sheet for my horse to have a high quality blanket for the cool weather. He wore the sheet for about three months this spring, outside almost 24/7. The material held up extremely well—not a single mark on it. Cleaned up beautifully and looks like new after only one wash (though the tan binding has faded). Love the overlapping Velcro tab in front–very secure. Generally good fit for a TB, drop a little long. Only real downside was the single tail strap (instead of leg straps) which quickly got full of manure."

"Six years ago I purchased this same turnout rug for my 6 yr. old gelding. It is now still in service with a different horse I own, in great condition! It has been washed and worn for the past 6 yrs. with no signs of wear or tear! Living through Michigan winters mean the blankets go on in November, and are still frequently on in March all day/ everyday. It doesn't slip, and leaves Woody's coat smooth and shiny. So, as I have now purchased another horse, I wanted him as well dressed, comfortable and warm as Woody! I expect the same great wear as the first one I bought!"

"I purchased the sheet version of this turn out. My horse has worn it in the rain and snow a few times and has come inside toasty and dry. This sheet does dry well when it gets damp. There are a couple little holes in the exterior but my horse and his pal can play rough and it's not as durable as the Rambo. He has also managed to take off this sheet just by undoing the front even though the belly straps are snug. I've never seen him do that to any other blanket before. Also, he measures a 78 and I ordered a 78. It's a good thing I did not go down a size or so (as suggested) as it would have been to small."

"This blanket keeps my horse warm and cozy (make sure to get the neck cover too!) and the very cold New England days. The only dissapoint met is that it doesn't have the 3 surcingles, but it is still a wonderful blanket, and a little cheeper then the rambo blankets but doesn't lack in durability as well as coming in nice colors that arn't too boring but don't make your horse look like a bright fruit all winter long."

"Great light blanket for a good price. Construction is good. Doesn't shift. Haven't had it long enough to comment on durability but I expect long wear out of it.
