After having a new OTTB a few months, he has been battling ulcers, his coat was looking dull, he wasn't gaining weight, and the list of minor things were adding up. Someone recommended Ration Plus for an immune boost, so I purchased it. It's a small amount of product used. Now a month later, I can see a big difference in his appearance and health. His coat looks so healthy and shiney.

I bought a schoolmaster this summer and wanted to make sure he did well through our winter. He came to me a little underweight with some teeth issues. I knew I was going to have to stay on top of his diet to maintain any weight he gained before winter came. He has done very well with this product in addition to the other feed changes I made, so well that I may discontinue this product when it runs out before the very lush spring grass starts coming in (all my other horses have to wear grazing muzzles on the lush pasture here). I would definitely use again if needed! I have used this product before on an OTTB that was extremely underweight and it worked great then too.

My very picky eater was constantly having cow flop like manure. It was extremely difficult to find a probiotic she would eat. Fortunately, she gobbles up the Ration Plus and she now has normally formed manure. This is fantastic stuff!

I gave it 5 stars because it did what it said it would do. My mini gets soft manure every spring when she starts on green grass. And it goes away in a week. Well, this year it turned into diarrhea and didn't go away. So I started her on Pro Biotics. No improvement. A week after putting her on the Ration Plus, her manure was normal. Can't beat that. Palatability got 5 starts - but truth in advertising - my mini would eat anything.

I've been using Ration Plus over 10 yrs.; starting with a severely malnourished 6 y/o stallion I rescued. I called the company for help. They were gracious, knowledgeable & very supportive; & suggested a higher dosage of Ration Plus than was labeled. It was a relief not having to worry about the supplement causing adverse effects to my horse from the higher dosage. "Spot" (yes, he was a Paint), blossomed in a few short months and I truly believe I owe most of his recovery to Ration Plus. It has also helped clear up diarrhea in my horses and not one of my 7 "kids" has ever refused to eat it. There have been countless people over the years that I've encouraged to try Ration Plus. Currently, my 23 y/o QH & 12 y/o endurance 1/2 Arab have Ration Plus included in their diets. I wouldn't feel right without it on a shelf.

After trying things like FatCat and Weight builder and numerous other "Weight gainers", this worked the best. Aged, picky as heck, mare loved this product. Key to this product, is TONS and TONS of fresh water. Dlowly puts the weight on without them getting high.

Ration Plus is one of the best products I've even used. It helped put weight on a severely emaciated horse I rescued a few years ago. I called the company & was assisted by a very knowledgeable and helpful individual. There is no downside to this product. It helps the horse utilize all the feed ingested & really puts the pounds on. I have continued to feed Ration Plus to my older horses and LD endurance horse.

I tried this Ration Plus for my driving pony with chronic "cow pies". He is on a regular deworming schedule and I had already tried dietary changes without success. Ration Plus made a big improvement, probably 80% "normal" manure. I later added a probiotic and now he is "normal" 99% of the time. I dose him at 3 ml 2xday. If I am changing hay supplies (gradually of course) or we have lots of rain which brings on a growth spurt in grass, I increase to 4ml 2xday for a few days and am usually able to prevent any GI upset.

Our 7 year old rescue mare has always had "cow flop" manure ever since we took her, over 4 years ago. During her cycles it became even worse, if you can imagine that. Diet changes & numerous probiotic products made no difference. A friend recommended that I try Ration Plus and within 2 days time, we saw normal manure for the fist time! What a great product. She gobbles it up in her grain with no problem whatsover. I would highly recommend it.

I LOVE this product. A friend turned me on to it a few years ago, I have an older Thoroughbred mare that whenever she receives bute, she'll immediately start eating her manure. The vet thought maybe the bute was upsetting her stomach and my friend recommended I try this, and boy does it help! More recently I adopted an OTTB last November. Came home with a poor coat and bad diarrhea. Within days of being on Ration Plus, his diarrhea cleared up and a month later his coat started to improve. From here on out I will always keep this product on hand!

I ordered Ration Plus for several senior horses who tend to get "the runs" for no apparent reason other than lack of digestive efficiency. Within a few days of feeding Ration Plus to them, the condition improved! I have tried many other products and so far Ration Plus is the best for this condition!

I moved to an indoor arena for the winter months and the change of hay and feed caused my mare to have loose stool and start losing weight. My vet recommended using Ration Plus, so I tried it and within a few days her stool was back to normal and she started maintaining her weight right away with the proper fiber and the Ration Plus. I will keep it on hnad from now because of the great results.

I have used Ration Plus intermittently over the past 10 years for horses that have completed antibiotic treatment and in several cases, for young or old horses that were unthrifty because of ulcers or other problems. I like the fact that it does not contain live bacteria which have the potential to cause problems in animals with stressed immune systems. I have noted changes in manure, firmer and reduced volume, in 10 days or less. Within a month of initiating use of Ration Plus, my horses have exhibited obviously improved appearance and attitude. It is highly palatable and does not require extended use. It used to come with a measuring medicine dropper attached to the bottle which was very convenient. Now I use a plastic soup spoon which holds the correct amount. I would recommend this product without reservation.

I read about this in Horse Journal. It does exactly what it says it will. I use it for my older warmblood cross every time after I de-worm him. I just notice a huge difference in his coat and his weight. He tends to get ribbey and pointy through the hips. After using a full bottle of this I notice his coat is shiney and he rounds out very nicely. "SUCCEED" is another great product but it is pricey. Try this first it is a GREAT product for the money.
