"I think the length on these is fine for me. I attach them to the breastplate (not the girth) and they are just a couple of inches longer than my reins when they are shortened up on my OTTB hunter. Good quality, nothing fancy or anything but they seem like they will last a long time (if they aren't stolen at the barn)."

"The leather is very nice. I like these drew reins but are too long to use on my horse that I ride. She is 16.1hh."

"I never really used draw reins much, but just to try it out it made it easier for me to get my horse's head down and make him lighter in the mouth... However, I do keep it loose so he won't get too dependent on it. The reins are very long though, so i have to tie the end in a knot."

"i really like them, they are a good quality are breaking in great, the other reviews said that they were long so i thought i would be okay with these seeing as i dont like to keep my draw reins extremely tight, just enough for my horse to know they are there, but when i put them on my 16.2 mare they were a good 4 inches to short. its not really a issue just makes it a little harder to use. im reselling them to my friend and using my next pay check for the more pricey ones smartpak has. still GREAT quality for the price."

"These draw reins are very nice and a very good leather quality. They seem to be breaking in quickly.
My only complaint is that they are a little long but I suppose most are. My trainer has a shorter pair that is a perfect length but I haven't seen anything else like them anywhere. I ride 16-18hh warmblood hunters and these reins are still so long that they'll loop around my boot as I'm riding unless I tie a knot in them. Not really a big deal though because that's easy to do. :-)"
