"They're a nice length--long enough to use on a big 17.2 HH horse, but not too long to use on a medium-sized 15.2 HH horse. They're thin (about the width of a curb rein) which makes it easier for me to keep my reins organized in my hands. I think they're a fair price for what you get: the leather isn't the greatest quality, but it's adequate for the job."

"I really like the narrow width of these reins and the sewn loops at the ends. They are great for someone with smaller hands to hold along with my reins. I do find they are very long...with my 16 hand horse, I have an awful lot of excess rein. However, if you have a very large horse, there is no worry about them working for you. I have only used them for about 6 weeks now, so I can't say how durable they will be, but they seem to be sturdy and well made."

"I like these draw reins. I was afraid they'd be a little too long, but their length is perfect even though my horse is only 16.1. Their color is much nicer and more subtle than that of the cotton reins (someone at my barn bought those). The leather quality seems decent and I can see them lasting for quite a while. I would purchase them again if I needed a new pair."

"I bought these draw reins to use on my youngster to help encourage proper self carriage and absolutely love them! The girth loops are easy to put on and I dont have to worry about them breaking like I do with clips. These draw reins are also plenty long which is great because my boy has a long neck! They needed quite a bit of oil out of the box but are now soft and supple."

"I recently purchased this product and I like it. The leather is of reasonable quality, and the length of the draw reins is excellent. My horse is only 16.1, so I was afraid they would be too long, but they are perfect! The color is rather subtle, too, especially compared to the cotton ones. Some people at my barn ordered those and the color is just a little too extreme. The girth loops are also big enough to accomodate girths that have covers. I would recommend this product without hesitation."

"These draw reins aren't expensive, and they hold up very well! They don't have clips which is a bummer, but I ended up just buying double sided clips and they work well on the ends. Overall I think it's a super deal for the price you pay!"

"I didn't look at the length before ordering. These draw reins are a foot and a half longer than any other I've used. The extra looped around my foot (ok I'm on the shorter side) during one ride!
Also, my h/j friend showed me how adding snaps to the horse side makes draw reins a lot easier to take on and off. You can't do that with these, the loops are sewn shut. It saves the manufacture on adding buckles, but makes these draw reins less adaptable to different situations.
The quality of the leather is very nice, supple, and sturdy, and it's a pretty color. If the extra length and lack of buckles are okay with you, than I would recommend these draw reins."

"I rarely use draw reins, but I wanted to have a pair on hand in case they were needed. I have only needed them once, but they are far better quality then some I have seen that had a much bigger price tag. If you need draw reins, these are the way to go."

"these draw reins do exactly what they are meant to do. Hopefully when my mare "gets it" I won't have to use them as much!"
