"I have never used cross ties, but my trainer suggested I install a set for those "just in case" times. We installed them in the aisle of our barn and the adjustable straps made it very easy. The instructions indicate how far apart the ties should be so there was no guesswork. We have several varying sizes of horses and donkeys so the adjustable straps are very useful."

"My Standardbred, Sabrina, broke one of our barn cross-ties when I was administering antibiotics IM. I needed a replacement ASAP. I remembered my SmartPak order was due to ship any day, so I hoped to be able to add a single cross-tie to the order. Thankfully, the exact cross-tie I was hoping for was available; and could be added to my order without any additional shipping charges. The cross-tie is strong and looks very durable. The old cross-tie wasn't adjustable, but this one is, which comes in very handy. I don't think Sabrina will be able to break this one! Plus, it matches the second pair of cross-ties at the barn. I almost wish the other one will break so we can have two matching sets!"

"While I own some of the fancy velcro-release version of cross ties, I find that one of each kind of tie on a cross tie station works fine for safety and security. I think of this purchase as akin to buying toilet paper, or laundry detergent "over and over," as necessary to run a barn (or household). This is a good quality product at an affordable price. And, I am sure I will be buying more some day."
