"I started my POA on this about a month ago. He was diagnosed with stringhalt and after googling stringhalt people recommended supplements that was suppose to help with the symptoms and cure the disease. Luckily E-Se-Mag had everything that was recommended in one supplement. I had to buy Vitamin B1 seperately since that was also a suggestion to help calm him, since stress makes the symptoms more noticeable. Since being on this and the Vit. B1 I have not noticed any signs of the stringhalt!!! I'm praying it is gone and he will have a normal healthy life. Attached is a pic of him the day after I bought him. I will have to get an updated one, he looks so much better after the supplements, good food, and exercise."

"My horse started becoming agitated while being brushed and then became a bit angry during saddling as well. I thought it was saddle fit at first, and gave him some time off to see if things improved. I also consulted with multiple saddle fitters and got a better fitting saddle. When I elimnated saddle fit as an issue, I thought maybe he was having some muscle soreness, so I decided to give this a try. It didn't work for my guy, but only because it wasn't muscle soreness. I also tried a ceramic blanket and that didn't change anything, so I consulted with the biochemist who forumlates the feed my horse is on and ended up starting him back up on a tummy soothing supplement. He was a different horse within a week, so I believe he was having ulcers acting up again, which is why this product more than likely did not work for him. Since I can't say whether the product is good or not, I did give it 4 stars. I thought the quality, value, and palatability were all very good."

"I use this to compliment the SmartFlex Senior Pellets for my horse, Shah. I believe this product attributes to his alertness and positive disposition due to it's ability to reduce inflammation, which in turn makes him feel much better. This is a product I will never stop using on my old man. I recommend E-SE-Mag for horses of any age! The SmartPaks keep it fresh so I recommend purchasing this item in monthly Paks."

"My horse has been stiff and tense when I ride. Most days he would even act up when being brushed. After reading other reviews I decided to try this out. He now seems more relaxed and free when I ride. Also enjoys being brushed again! My picky eater takes his time cleaning this out of his bucket but finishes it by the end of the day, wished SmartPak could make this in a pellet form."

"I use this product to complement another supplement that does not contain vitamin E, selenium and magnesium. My horse likes the taste and I like the high concentration of the three vitamins but I discovered after the purchase that the vitamin E is not natural. It is dl instead of d -. The website was silent on that and I now regret that I bought yet another product that only contains artificial vitamin E."

"My TB mare had been having some issues with sore muscles and just not developing muscle like she should despite the amount of work she was in. My trainer advised we start her on E-SE-Mag, to see if that might help. Smartpak was kind enough to even send us some samples, which my finicky mare literally licked from the bottom of her bucket!
I've noticed a HUGE improvement in her since staring the supplement. She is visibly more comfortable under saddle, and no longer muscle sore. She's happier working, and able to go for longer periods of time. She's also starting to look like a beefcake. The craziest part? The hunters bump she's had since I bought her totally disappeared within two weeks....YAY!!!

"My mare hated being brushed, was tense and reactive, and seemed unhappy more than she was happy. She had already been treated for ulcers, was on 14hr turnout, and got free choice hay. My vet recommended a Se supplement and thought this one would be good.
Within a week I noticed a HUGE change in her. She no longer flinches, pins her ears, and tries to step away when I brush her. In fact, she relaxes into the curry comb on the crossties. Under saddle, she seems much more mellow and less jumpy. We've been going on lots of trail rides and I rarely gather up contact past the buckle, whereas before I started her on this supplement, I didn't really trust her not to spook at the invisible scary things. I am so pleased I started her on this supplement."

"I got this for my horse after she had very sore muscles and my trainer recommended this. After using it for about a month, she is less sore after strenuous training sessions and just seems overall more lively.
The only problem is she hates the taste of the magnesium, so we have to wet her grain to get her to eat the powder..."

"It's needed in all three of my horses feed and this is the most cost effective product. I also like the extra magnesium as it seems to shorten the warm-up and keep their muscles looser. I saw a huge difference on my icelandic pony as soon as he started on it. I thought he was permanently tight but now he's reaching for the bit right away and looser all over."

"I chose this for my 5 and half year old 17h appendix qh who is in training twice a week on top of frequent riding because he seemed very muscle sore before workouts (tightening girth) and after workouts (brushing). He is gaining muscle and growing (height and weight) very quickly so I decided to give this supplement a try. It seems to be working as he is not so "crabby" during his growing spells and he is accomplishing more in his training!"
