This is by far the best supplement that I have used, and it's the most fairly priced supplement I have seen on the market for the results it produces. I'm not sure if it is because it's for "senior" horses, but the ingredients beat other supplements in levels and completeness, and it's half the price of some.
My gelding is 15 years old and dead lame in both hocks if he doesn't have something to ease the arthritis. On this, he is probably 100% sound at least 90% of the time, and you can't tell that he has arthritis.

It has all the ingredients I used in the past but had to purchase separately, much more convenient and cost effective. My horse, Paladin has arthritis in his fetlock and can become lame but since using Legacy, that has just about gone totally. In the winter is the worst for him, so far this winter no lameness.

I use this on my 22 year old arabian stallion. He eats this up like candy and you can definately see a difference in his soundness level. He looks great now and is moving well.

I have given this supplement to my senior TB mare for about 4 years now all year round at the maintenance dose. She is now 20 years old and still jumping 2' 6 and doing light dressage. She is sound, and really moves out on this product. Great palatability- she is a finicky eater and gobbles this up. I would definitely recommend this to anyone interested in a Glucosamine joint supplement.

I use Legacy in conjunction with Smartflex Senior Herb Free. I like it because it has both Yucca and Vitamin E - and is reasonably priced. I also get a little extra MSM out of it. My mare is 20, with hock issues and is navicular - and I think the addition of the Legacy to the more powerful Smartflex senior herb free - helps her. A big plus is that my mare will eat it without having to mix it with anything else. The smartflex I have to mix with something to make her eat it.

I have been giving my horse Legacy pellets for several years now. She is 26 years old and was beginning to stiffen up, especially in cold weather. Since she has been on the pellets she moves around easily with no sign of stiffness. The farrier has a much easier time trimming her hooves since she is able to lift her feet without the stiffness she used to experience. I am very glad I found this product.

I have used this on my 21 year old gelding for about 9 months and just started my 17 year old on it a month ago. It completely did away with the cracking/popping noise they made sometimes when trotting. The love to eat it and never leave any behind. It's great for regular joint maintenance on horses that don't need a lot. Price is also very reasonable!

Hands down the best joint supplement and a great value. I've been feeding this product for several years and wouldn't be without it. I've tried the more expensive high tech joint supplements out there and honestly nothing can compare to this one.

Started using on my 19 year old Thoroughbred who was showing stiffness in his hocks. He moves more fluidly now than ever! He's in full work with no signs of slowing down. With such great success, started my mom's 10 year old Appaloosa who has (or should I say had) leg issues as well. She too is moving very comfortably!

I have a Quarter Horse. He just turned 24 yrs old. I have had him on Legacy Senior for several years. He is strong, healthy, sound and my farrier and vet can not believe how good he looks. A friend of mine had not seen him in a couple of years, he could not beleive how good my horse looks. Thanks to this product, we have many trails to cover, and it is such a wonderful sight to see him run to me when called.

Dosage too low to tell any difference. See comparison chart. Waste of money unless you just want to feel like you are giving your horse a supplement. Switched to a higher octane supplement.

I put my 21 y/o Quarter pony gelding and my 25 y/o TB mare on this about 3 months ago for basic joint health/support. They are both much more limber and run and play like 3 year olds! My farrier said he has never had horses their age be able to lift their legs as easily and stand as still as they can while having their feet trimmed! Love this product! Also love that it is pelleted!!

It's too soon to judge whether this is working, but my mare is eating it without any problem. Not a single pellet left in the feed dish.

I have tried many other joint supplements on my 11 year old mare with heel pain. I switched to this, and it has made a huge difference. The way I can REALLY tell is if she misses a dose. She actually is a tad off. Though it is made for older horses, my mare is SO much happier on this. Thanks! Great product!

My 20 year old rope horse could barely walk for about 6 months. I did my research and found you get way more nutrition and supplements for over half the price of the other stuff. Within 3 weeks of using this product I was back to roping off him every day with no strain to him. Thank you.

We have been using Legacy on our 25 yr. old Paint for a few years now. He has minor arthritis and had a severe bowed tendon a few years back. I believe this product helps him to remain healthy and active. You can tell he feels good and can still go on gentle rides. It must be palatable as he has no problems eating it. The most important thing is it has the NASC seal (National Animal Supplement Council). I trust any company's product that carries this seal as it insures that the stated ingredients ARE IN THERE! We will keep our senior horse on Legacy always.
