"My horse was always good about eating the Source powder but I felt like there was more of the possibility of it getting stuck in his supplement containers or in his grain bucket that gets poured into his feed tub. Having pellets instead of powder prevents this problem. They smell a little fake & funny but my horse likes them & I don't worry that he might not get his full ration each time."

"I absolutely adore Source... have seen some really incredible changes in my horses in the first two or three months on Source. Really soft coats, bright eyes, filling out well despite no change in feed amounts... etc etc. This was my first try with the nuggets because my picky mare dumped the powder on the ground. She ate it right up! Made me a little more comfortable too, knowing it got into her."

"These nuggets completely disappear when added to my horse's feed. As a discerning detective, he sifts most powdered supplements to the bottom of his bucket. (I suspect he chuckles to himself seeing me toss out the unconsumed particles.) Source has always been an important ingredient, and this form of delivery is much better than the powdered version."

"Source products provide seaweed which contain concentrated micronutrients that are depleted on land. All animals and humans can benefit from blue-green algae products. I primarily give my horses Source products to provide nutrition for the thyroid, but there are other benefits too. I buy the large container of Source and it last 6 months for three horses. I've used Source Focus original, Source Micronutrients pellets, and Source Senior. I noticed recently Source Hoof contains Lysine which helps hoove and muscle health, so I will try that too. They eat all of these formulas very well. Source is green food and horses love green food! Some formulas are powder, and some are pellets, but you feed such a small amount that it doesn't matter."

"I've used the powdered Source for several years and it always seemed to be at the bottom of the feed bucket. I never knew if my horse got any or not so I decided to try the pellets. What a difference! The pellets are always GONE with the rest of the feed so I know she's getting the supplement and I'm not throwing my money down the drain. It's more expensive, but probably not in the long run since I threw so much of the powder in the garbage!"

"I have been using Source for years and am convinced it has cured or helped to cure several equine ailments that my horses had/have and is a general health "tonic" for my horses. I've read several times over the internet to see the benefits of Source, put your horses on it for several months, then take them off and see the difference in their coat, hooves and general health and attitude versus when they were on Source. This is the one supplement I will have my horses on forever over all others."

"I have been giving Source for 27 years to my event/hunting horses. They have always been very healthy and lived long lives. I have a Dutch Warmblood, a Thoroughbred & pony right now and they are all over 20.

"I liked the idea of the Source so I bought it for my horse. He wouldnt eat the power so I switched to the pellets. He eats them without a problem but I have not noticed any difference in his coat at all...slightly disappointed after reading all the great reviews on this product..might switch to something else.."

"I first started my mare on the Source Focus Hoof because she had cracks, and since she lives outside 90% of the time and is an easy keeper she needed a multivitamin also. After about 5 months all of the cracks are gone, she is barefoot, and I switched her to the original Source. Her hoof quality is still excellent several months later and her coat, stamina, and personality are much improved from when I first put her on the supplement. I would recommend this to anyone with an easy keeper or a pastured horse that doesn't get much grain. It did take a little while for her to get used to the taste, but she eats the original Source much better than the Source hoof."
