"This half pad has nice, heavy stitching and wonderful fabric on the top. The sheepskin is of stellar quality and is soft, supportive, and breathable.
My horse and I perform better because his back is no longer sore.
I am very pleased with this half pad for the price, couldn't get anything better!"

"I took a chance on this pad, knowing many preferred the thinline or Mattes. I was pleasantly surprised at the high quality of this pad, and how well it works. My mare is rebuilding her topline, and needs extra padding while we condition her. This pad is excellent for that, I may even buy another!"

"Ordered this pad after my saddle fitter recommended one as my guy comes back after injury (lost some muscle definition and saddle was downward). Quality is great, regardless of the price (which is less than many others), and fits under my 17.5 barnsby without issue. Sheepskin is soft and washes easily on delicate with gentle detergent.
Also one of the few I found without rolls on the back which never seem to sit right."

"Fits great and stays in place! Very soft and keeps it's shape through the wash. I always ride in this pad. Recently had the vet come by for a check up and my horse has absolutely no back soreness! This pad is a great buy!"

"My close contact saddle does not fit my horse very well. I decided to buy this and try it out. The half pad barely fits my saddle, every time I ride with it the pad slips. Since the pad slips it's useless. I tried the pad on several different horses and different saddles. All different breeds and shapes of horses as well as different saddles and each time I get the same result, the pad slips.
I've always loved ECP products but this is their worst product yet, I'm not sure I'll ever buy a product made by them again!"

"Bought this pad because both my close contact and all purpose saddle pad didn't fit as well as I would have liked it. Going back and forth from this product and a product from dover I decided to pick this partly because of the price but also because of the great reviews it got.
This pad does not fit either saddle. Its too small and moves around. I would NOT recommend this to anyone, price isn't much different from any other half pad, so pay the 2 extra dollars and get a better quality half pad."

"this is the cheapest i found the pad the closest was dover but even they wanted around 10 dollars more for it plus almost $15 in shipping. fits my horse great feels very comfortable and cushy in the saddle i would recomend to everyone"

"If you have ever considered a half pad, consider no more - buy! I have had a horrible time fitting my wide but with moderate withers Paint in a hunt-seat saddle. The medium trees were slightly too narrow, the wide tree sat on his withers (choose a medium flex tree saddle).... I had also had issues with the saddle never quite sitting evenly; it tended to shift slightly to the left regardless of how I adjusted my seat or the stirrup leathers. At the recommendation of a friend I tried a half pad - problem solved! Saddle sits perfectly and my horse is much happier!"
