This is an ideal blanket for late spring and autumn for my horses, its light but warm enough and keeps the coat looking lovely. It is a generous fit lengthways and I could probably have ordered a size down for the horse I bought it for. The fit around the top of the tail is much better than in other non tail flap rugs I've bought. The material does seem quite thin but so saying I have one of these rugs on another horse that is now 6 years old and only has one tiny rip in it that I can easily fix myself

After trying many many, and searching for something that wasn't too heavy, we have FINALLY found our cozy, pretty winter stable blanket!
I have a Haflinger and avoid blankets altogether because he is very winter hardy, but with the changable North East winter we have had (50 degrees to single digits in 24 hours!), I purchased this for the very freakishly cold nights, or in case he ever wasn't feeling well.
It is absolutely lovely. Very soft and lofty - feels absolutely delicious, but with 150 gram fill, should not ever be too much.
We went up one size because of a very drafty neck, but overall fit is very good and the blanket couldn't be lovlier.
Small enough to fit in my home large capacity washer, so that's great.
Highly recommend - for the price, an outstanding and handsome blanket and just the right weight IMO.

this a beautiful blanket...it is best used under a turnout as it doesn't have rear leg straps. it would be nice to wear in the trailer to a show, or as a liner. I wouldn't turn out in it. It seems very warm and also keeps coat smooth. good value!

Really nice liner and stays clean over night when there is nothing over the blanket. I only wish HorseWear would extend the pvc coated tail cords to all of their blankets.

After the geldings destroyed three older rhino blankets this winter I decided it was time for a new blanketing strategy. I've been putting this blanket on as a liner underneath a Rambo wug lite. We're a few months in and so far this has worked perfectly. No rubs, no tears. My horse is always warm and dry in what has been a fairly yucky New England winter. My only complaint is that the stable blanket peeks out a bit under the wug, but it has stayed dry and intact, so it's no big deal.

While the fit of this blanket is excellent, I ended up sending it back because it is so thin. I could just see my horse shredding it the first night.

bought this stable blanket to go under a sheet. We've been having a warmer than usual winter- in the 30s and 40s, so my heavy weight blanket was too much. This offers enough fill to keep him warm but not too warm. Keeps his coat shiny as well. It is not waterproof though, so you do need to cover it with a sheet if using outdoors.

I have a wide 15.2 hand Quarter Horse and this blanket fits him wonderfully. He has plenty of room in the chest and hindquarters. He wears a 78. He wears this blanket almost everynight, where the barns stays between 35 and 44 and is perfectly fine. Even when its colder between high 20's and lower 30's this blanket seems to adjust and keep him warm. I do not clip him, but blanket early so his hair doesn't grow as much. I dislike the tail cord. I wish it was just one strap across instead of a loop. So i just cut the rope to the size i needed and that was an easy fix. I will buy more Amigo blankets in the future because of the low price but high quality and they fit my QH great!

This is the second Amigo stable blanket I have purchased. The outer fabric appears to be more durable than the first one I purchased last year, that is prone to small tears. It fits my warmblood very well. The heavy weight is light to lift, but keeps my horse very warm. It was very convenient to have SmartPak monogram it, so it was ready to use as soon as it arrived.

This blanket is perfect for what I need. The medium weight is ideal for inside my barn where it never gets below 35! Great for when trailering..all around a very versatile blanket. When he goes out, I throw on another turnout or rain sheet and he is set for the day. He rolls alot and this blanket stays right in place..and very easy to clean off shavings and dirt. True to size for fit. I really really like that blanket and will look at the Amigo brand for future purchases.

I purchased this blanket to be just used in the stable (there's no leg straps) so I wouldn't turn out with it on. The fit is perfect 75 fits my skinny small TB perfectly and doesn't slip around at night. No rubbing either. Get the heavy weight- all reviews that say that it's not heavy enough are probably referring to the medium weight option. The heavy weight is great on it's own and if it gets really cold at night I can always throw another sheet under it or blanket over it. The only thing is that it's not that durable. The first night that he wore it I came into the barn and it was already torn at the front like it was snagged on something. Right now it's duct taped over the rip so the stuffing wont come out and it wont rip more. After winter I will take it to get repaired or send it back to the manufacturer. Overall it's what I expect from a standard heavy stable blanket.

I was really excited to see that Amigo had an inexpensive stable sheet. However I was VERY disappointed in the quality of this blanket. The material is very flimsy and snags and tears easily. It lasted less than one season on a mare that is very easy on her blankets. The color is lovely, but i would not spend the $$ on another until they used a more durable fabric.

I really like using this blanket at a layer. It was not as heavy as I thought it was going to be, but still fits very snugly against my horse and so still allows his turnout to fit well. I have only had it for a month or so, but it has held up well so far.

I ordered the heavyweight stable blanket to add as another layer when the temps drop below 25. It fits great and seems like it will hold up great UNDER OTHER BLANKETS. Since it's only 600D you definitely wouldn't want to turn your horse out with others who like to bite and play, but as a layer under something else I really like it so far!

I like the look of this blanket and so far so good. haven't had it too long so I can't speak to it's durability. However, I did have embroidery done on it and I have to say it was very fast! I got it in like 5 days! Nice job!

Perfect weight for that in between time when summer is ending and the fall weather is upon us. Also a great piece for layering when the temps dip down really low - much like the weight of a blanket liner. Fits well and doesn't shift around. Shavings don't stick to it and seems to be quite durable so far. Can't go wrong with this product line.
