Metacam® Oral Suspension
Metacam? Oral Suspension (meloxicam)is a Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory (NSAID) drug of the oxicam class. Each milliliter contains meloxicam equivalent to 1.5 milligrams (32 ml and 100 ml) and sodium benzoate (1.5 milligrams) as a preservative. 15 ml size contains meloxicam equivalent to 0.5 milligrams.? For oral use in dogs only. 15 ml, 32 ml and 100 ml dropper bottle with measuring syringe.

"The vet prescribed Metacam for my dogs spinal arthritis. It seems to work well given every other day, as directed. It seems palatable - my dog does not mind when I squirt it in his mouth. It isn't cheap, but what is it worth for your dog to be able to jump onto your bed? :)"

"My Yellow Lab was diagnosed with (OCD) in her back hocks at age 3 and was to old to have the surgery to correct it. We were devistated. Our Vet told us the progression and opptions, it was bleak. She was my constant conpanion. At around age 6 I would saddle up the horse and as I mounted my horse I noticed her suddenly start turning and walking back to the house with a look of failure and grief. She could no longer keep up even though I would get off my horse and walk slowly with her if she began to struggle. Her pain was too much and she had to turn the "job" over to her her pup (age 3.) I know she would have continued despite the pain if not for her knowledge that her pup would keep me safe. Our vet prescribed her Metcam and on day 5 she was like a pup! We actually had to hold her back to keep her from over doing! With Smartpak, no monthly visits to her vet to get the Metcam script, SmartPak holds her year long script and it is shipped to the house every month! My best friend proudly resumed her position and takes the lead on our rides again! Thank you SmartPaks!"

"We have been using this product for several years for our older dog who has arthritis of the back. Before this product he was in such pain and now with a small dose in the morning, well he was given a second lease at life!
