"I'm on the third bottle of this salmon oil and finally doing a review. I have a Golden Retriever with allergies and skin issues galore! She has been to many different vets, including two doggy dermatologist, all sorts of medicated shampoos, supplements and medication for her skin problems.
After using this product for about one month, I started to see changes in her coat for the better. The first notable change was she was shedding her 'retained' coat on her legs near her hips. I could never get rid of that hair, no matter how much I brushed her or shampooed her. It was just there since puppyhood. Then, her coat started to get incredibly shiney and the shedding was notably less.
Twice a day she gets one squirt on her food. At first, she wasn't to thrilled with the taste, and she's not a picky eater. But no problem now with her licking her bowl clean.
This is a 'must' supplement for my pooch. If only I could give it to my horses!
I love, love, Smart Pak. When I choose a new product I almost always go with reviews and this is definitely a Five Star review!"

"I bought this salmon oil for my 9 year old collie. Her fur has never been so soft and easy to brush, it's really amazing. Since starting her on the oil she has so much more energy and easily jumps on and off the couch. Before she had trouble just getting up from lying down. I also give my overweight cat this product with an all natural food. Not only is she losing weight but I have never seen her so shiny! Great product."

"We got these because our 8 year old border collie has hip dysplasia and arthritis the pills are pretty big an were hard to get down her at first, but once we got a system figured out we didn't have any problems. Aside from the size of these pills the only problem I have is the nasty lingering stench if you rupture the capsule, the oil sticks to your hands and is a pain to wash off, so be gentle with them.
With the fish oil and some MSM she is getting around MUCH better, her coat is super shiny and healthy looking, and she doesn't itch all the time.
She is now a happy, healthy pup.
I would deffanantly recommend this product."

"I tried this at the recommendation of my vet and wasn't really expecting to see a difference. After about 2 weeks I noticed that my older dog was moving so much better! She was running and playing and seemed more comfortable. I'm a believer! Also, my dog loves eating it. She is more excited about food than I have ever seen her."

"I was unsure how my picky pit bull would eat these GIANT capsules. He stopped eating the SmartPak Allergy pills and was searching for something to help his itchy coat. He has eaten them since day one and has not had an issue getting them down. His skin and coat is less itchy and so shiny. Wonderful product!"

"I had been feeding my horse Welactin Equine fish oil, but I was disappointed by the customer service of the company I ordered it from. I love, love, love the auto ship option for all SmartPak products and their service is second to none, so I thought I would try this fish oil for my horse. The salmon oil is high quality, and I adore the "pump" option, so I just have to squirt 3 pumps on his grain twice a day- no more measuring (yay)!"

"I gave my dog Keebler this supplement thinking I would just try it out for a month and see how things went. I was super impressed! I wrap each of the pills in a little bit of cheese and he gobbles it right down (and he is a VERY picky eater). It has done amazing things with his coat and I will keep him on this supplement for life!"

"My Australian shepherd's skin had become very dry and his coat had lost its luster. He was scratching himself constantly. Within a couple days of giving him the salmon oil there was marked improvement. He loves it with his food. He is eating better, his skin is no longer flaky, his stools are better, and he is general a much happy dog. Without all the scratching, I am a happier dog owner as well."

"Well, I think the product has helped my 2 dogs from itching and chewing so much...unfortunately, the dog who really needs it must have encouragement to lap it up. My other dog eats it right off the plate. It is easy to dispense and "clean" but I am trying a different product to try to entice my picky eater."

"I purchased this product for my wire haired Jack Russell that scratches a lot. Instead of changing his food to one of those expensive fish based types, he is fine on what I feed him, I started giving him this supplement. Within 2 weeks his itching became minimal. I was worried that it might put some weight on him, but he looks great as usual. I am thankful that he has stopped scratching in the middle of the night!"

"I have used this product for one month on a Golden Retriever with serious skin issues and all I can say is WOW! His skin issues have cleared up and his coat is starting to come back in very nicely! (He has been able to come off all his meds because of how well this supplement has worked on his coat!!!) He also loves the taste which is surprising considering he is an extremely picky eater and trying to get him to eat involved over an hour of cheering him on! He now eats with minimal cheering and licks every last morsel out of his bowl! Could not be more pleased with this product!"

"I purchased this because I have a foster cat that has issues and needed some help with her skin and coat among other things. I also thought this would benefit the other cats. So far, out of 4 cats, none will touch any food with the fish oil on it. Whether I put it on the dry or wet food they walk away and won't touch it. Waisted my money on this one."

"All 3 of my dogs get the capsules in their dinner at night, as part of their evening SmartPaks. Previously I just pumped fish oil into their bowls every night, so I wasn't sure if they would like the capsules. They love them!
