Prozyme
PROZYME is a unique, all natural, high potency supplement, made up of four highly concentrated and purified natural plant-derived enzymes (lipase, amylase, protease, and cellulase), that will unlock the nutrients contained in your pet's food. PROZYME is scientifically proven to increase the absorption of nutrients and fatty acids, especially Zinc, Selenium, Vitamin B-6, Linoleic Acid and Eicosapentaenoic Acid (EPA-Omega 3) from pet food. Prozyme does not get destroyed by the acid in the stomach. The 454 gm bottle will treat 363 cups of food. Allow up to eight weeks to see results.

Have used Opti-Gest, and this is as good. Have older labs with food allergies- this helps them prevent tummy upset. Must be a bit sweet as one doesn't care for the taste but the other (who loves sweets) loves it. Mix water in the food to dissolve it to dilute the taste and add fluid to their diet.

My two dogs were having diarrhea every few days and I just could not figure out why. I saw this product on the SmartPak website and decided to try it. They haven't had diarrhea since they've been on it. They also seem just generally healthier. I feed them really good food and feel much better knowing that they're absorbing the nutrients much better with the prozyme. And it lasts a really long time, even with 2 dogs eating anywhere from about 4 cups each every day.

I take in foster dogs from the local shelter and the first thing that happens when they get to my home is Deep Sea Salmon Oil and Prozyme, with the appropriate LiveSmart dog food. Well... to make a long story short, I forgot to hit the auto reorder on the Prozyme this last time and my Boxer mix is paying me back - at both ends! This stuff is the best digestive aid I've found and it's verrry inexpensive. Taking in malnourished strays, I see a dramatic change for the better in the quality of their stool in only two or three days. And in the case of Roscoe, the aforementioned Boxer mix, it makes a HUGE difference in my home's air quality! Will not, not, NOT, do without Prozyme ever again.

I currently have 2 dogs on this product. One is a 10 yr. old Greyhound. I put him on it after a friend recommended it after he had a bout of intestinal distress. So far so good! The other dog is a new addition, a French Bulldog mama rescued from a puppy mill. Her coat and weight are improving marvelously on this, but the best thing is: a reduction in "Frenchie flatulence!" Thank you Prozyme3 :-)

adopted an emaciated golden that could not put on any weight..veteranian suggested prozyme and dog went from 60 odd pounds to over 90 in a matter of months...

Prozyme is a "can't do without" supplement for dogs suffering from a variety of digestive issues. We have found it is most helpful for weight gain, loose stool, and gas problems.
My daughters current training prospect is growing so fast he needs to eat tons and tons of kibble per day just to maintain a rather skinny condition. All that performance food goes through him so fast he was not getting what he needed out of it and we were stuck in a cycle of feeding more food to try to keep weight on him which in turn cause more loose stool but no weight gain. Nothing we had tried, from prescription medication to pro-biotics, to diet changes had helped. After two days on Prozyme his stool is firm for the first time in MONTHS and I can already see weight gain. Hooray, with our first breed show in a month I was really sweating having his guy ready, but now I feel confident he will look, and feel, his best.

After over two months of chronic diarrhea and spending hundreds of dollars on tests from the vet (with no results), someone suggested I try Prozyme powder. It worked like magic, and my young Doberman has been diarrhea-free ever since!
I rated palatability at average, only because my guy wolfs down anything I put in front of him, no matter what the taste. So I really can't say if it's palatable for other dogs.
SmartPak had the best price for this product by far. I was paying the same price at Petco for a similar product, but it was only 1/4 of the quantity!

Great product!!!!
I have a 7 month old Corgi with protein digestive problems, stress colitis, this product has helped her completely!!!! Amazed me.
She goes to horseshows and usually would come home and be sick for weeks following. Not anymore!! I highly recommend this product !!!

My holistic vet recommended this product. I tried it out for my dog since I'm pretty much a supplement junkie anyway (she also gets Cosequin for preventative maintenance, salmon oil for her coat, and a calming herbal supplement for her crazy). She's a 52 pound, high-energy, lab/aussie mix, and I had been feeding her 2.5 cups of Wellness daily for the last year to keep her at that exact weight. After about 4 or 5 weeks on the Prozyme, I noticed that she was starting to look a bit chunky (at 50 pounds, she's too skinny; at 54 pounds, she gets chubby). Since then, I've cut her back to just a bit over 2 cups (less than 2.25 daily) and she has returned to her perfect 52 pounds. So let's say she gets 0.4 cups less per day - that's 12 cups less per month, so it probably does make up for the cost of the Prozyme. And she's getting the other benefits from increased digestion, as well (her poops are smaller though still regular, and her coat might even be just a bit softer). My goldendoodle also gets this supplement and his stinky ears seem to be a bit better, though I don't know if it is from this supplement of his whitefish-based dog food. Still, I definitely think this supplement is worth it!

I have a 2 year old German Shepherd that has had loose stools daily and has had diffculty putting on weight since we picked him up from the breeder at 9 weeks. We ran a bunch of tests on him and couldn't find anything wrong with him. While searching for solutions, we contacted the local German Shepherd rescue, figuring they may have some suggestions as they see all kinds of problems and they recommended Prozyme to us. What a difference!!! Took a couple of weeks to really kick in, but he has had solid stools ever since. Huge difference...he will be on this for the rest of his life!!!

In my experience, ProZyme is nothing short of miraculous. My Jack Russell had suffered from severe diarrhea for four months, despite everything our vets and I tried. We had every test you can imagine, and no cause found; she had lost nearly 40% of her body weight, and was literally a fews days from being euthanized. We added ProZyme to her food, and within two days she was producing normal stools. Now, about two months later, she has gained back more than half of the weight she lost, and continues to do well on the ProZyme. It is everything it claims to be!

My lab was suffering from diarrhea, and was losing weight no matter what food we tried her on. Within a day, she was producing normal firm stools. She's been normal ever since we started her on Prozyme and she's on a pretty small dose, which seems to do the trick.
