Good product, does what it is designed to do. Installs easily. Added benefit - don't have to store fans in the winter, no more broken fans from horses messing with the bungee cords. A little pricey though.

I like the product, but it didn't come with any instructions for putting it together or how to mount it to the stall. My horse has been on stall rest the last two months and having two fans in his stall this summer has been great. It also help with keeping the flys off him too.

THE IDEA WAS GREAT BUT THE FAN MOUNTED ON TOP OF THE STALL JUST BLOWS HOT AIR FROM THE CEILING DOWN. PURCHASED THE SIZE FAN IT SHOWS BUT IT DOESN'T DO A LOT. IT CAME WITH A BAG OF SCREWS THAT WERE TOO BIG FOR THE HOLES AND HAD ONLY 2 WASHERS AND NUTS. PRICE WAS THE SAME EVERYWHERE I FOUND IT.

This stall mount has saved me a ton of trouble. It took no time to put together and mount. Before finding this product, I rigged up my fans however I could. Now, I know they are securely in place!

Bought these to add air circulation to our barn. There are several problems. I spent a whole afternoon installing 3 of these and this is what I went through. The instructions are difficult to understand and the writing is so small I couldn't read it. Different size screws go into the CERTAIN holes, but you won't realize that until you mount the fan holder onto the wall. You'll then come to realize that screw you have in one hole needs to be another...but that screw is never going to come out. It's as if the hole is too small for the screw to come out. Also, if the bottom of the fan mount is eye level with the horse, he may poke his eye out. The screws used to tighten the fan mount onto the wall or board stick out (at least on my walls). Nice idea, but a big pain and way to expensive.

I really like these stall mounts because I used to have fans secured by bungee cords; these are neater and more stable. My only complaint is that it didn't come with instructions; not too difficult to figure out, but it would be nice to have them.

Having the fan above really improves the air circulation in the stall. I was worried about drawing down warm air, but the direction of the flow actually dissipates the body heat much better.
The assembly instructions were slightly cryptic, but after a couple of tried we figured it out. It comes with 2 sets of bolts for wood and for concrete. The important thing is the thickness of the wall you are trying to straddle with the base. It is not mentioned anywhere and it is critical obviously. It will straddle most stall walls, though, and in fact I needed a board to make it thicker.
Price is a little high for the actual material, but it is a very effective idea.

This was defnently a great purchase. It increases airflow in the stalls and keeps fans and cords out of horses reach. The only downfall of this product is the price. According to several master welders I know, with supplies and labor the brackets would only cost about $20 to make.

I purchased the same bracket a few years ago to put in an outdoor shelter to provide added air circulation during our hot, summer months. It worked very well and I am now adding one to another shelter. It is a sturdy bracket which mounted easily and held the fan well.

Several of the stalls at our barn have gotten these stall mount fan holders which move the fan from the front of the stall where it is limited in its effectiveness AND gets dirty quickly. The holder is at the top of the stall front and angles down into the stall giving it more circulation of air rather than just one section that your horse must stand in front of. It makes the fan a lot more effective!! Sturdy and well made. Love it!
