"I have been using Equitrol on four horses for about 6 months. Living in South Florida, there is no "cold" season to kill the flies, so we deal with them all year long. Lately, we noticed they have diminished considerably. At first, since we have been using Equitrol for quite a while, we didn't make the connection. But now, we realize there are hardly any flies at all! We don't even need to spray the horses! The obvious benefit of NO FLIES is made even better by the fact that we don't even have to think about it! We don't have to remember to spray the horses every day and night, before riding, after bathing, etc. There are no side effects that I have seen (except NO FLIES!) I love this stuff!!"

"I have used Equitrol II for five years and my horses could not be happier. Since our winters get pretty cold, I do not start Equitrol II until April which seems to work. I have never had to use any other kind of fly trap in my barn or pasture. It is simple to use and the horses aren't aware that they are getting a supplement."

"This really works well. Even though I am the only one at our barn that is using it, I can say that the droppings in our pasture don't have any full grown flies. This is definitely helping our fly population decrease at our barn!"

"Have used this product for over 5 years and really like the fact that it controls the flies. We have very few of them in our barn and the horses seem much happier not swishing their tails and stomping all summer. Their hooves stay in great shape since they don't stomp and the farrier only comes on his regular schedule. Great product!"

"I started my two horses on Equitrol II in the fall of 2008 because my automatic fly system was not able to control the fly population. It's been a colder than normal winter, so fly season is not yet in full swing, however, I have noticed a significant decrease in the number of flys on days that the temp has reached 70's or 80's. If the significant decrease continues thru the summer months, I would highly recommend this product to all. Cost is approximately $12 per month per horse - well worth it!"

Works Great

"This product has worked wonders for my two "outdoor horses." I have used Equitrol for two years now and there have been very few house or stable flies since using it. Before that they were everywhere with my horses constantly throwing their heads. Be aware, though, that the product doesn’t seem to help with gnats, black flies or horse flies. The garlic products work better for controlling these. Also know that it only works if all the horses at your barn use the product."
