"I didn't realize until i rec'vd this that it was a Perri's brand halter. I had originally tried a cob size on my large pony mare and the noseband was a tad tighter than i wanted it to be and i had it on the second to last hole on the crown peice on either side. I ordered her a horse size and it fits her much better. I would say the sizing runs average, maybe a tad on the small side. Leather is nice quality, a little stiff on the ends that go through the buckles, but nothing a little oiling can't fix. My black mare with white face markings looks very nice in her new black and white show halter :)"

"The leather this halter is made from is buttery soft and the fit was nice and roomy for my Quarter Horse. Most nylon halters are a little snug on him when I order the full / average size but this leather halter fit him perfectly! He looks very dashing with the blue trim, as well! Definitely recommend this product."

"I was thrilled with this halter. It was not cheap, but it is lovely on my horse. The leather is high quality and the workmanship is also. The colors offered are fantastic. I have never seen one with the blue padding. With a brass name plate added. We look fancy!"

"The halter is very nicely put together and I love the how the hunter padding looks with the havana. The nameplate is sturdy and looks great. Love this halter. Only problem was with the shipping.....it was promised for 12/23 and I didn't receive it until 12/30......so I had to give my dad a piece of paper for a Christmas gift."

"This is the 2nd one I have purchased- leather halters typically don't last long- but this one went a year before I had to replace it. This padded halter does not rub my horse's face like the cheaper halters do. A little expensive if you do have to buy one yearly- but not the most expensive padded halter on the market. Looks great, contrasting colored padding is a nice touch (when it stays clean!). The fit does seems to vary- last "horse" size ran big- this one seems to run small."

"This is a beautiful halter that fits our large pony really well (cob size). It's very adjustable, so proper fit is pretty easy. The leather is beautiful and we got the Havana with blue padding and it's lovely on our little white/grey pony. It's brand new to us, so we can't comment on durability, but it looks like it should last very well."
