Rescue Remedy

"Wow, this stuff is amazing! I have tried supplements for both my horse and myself (I have bad anxiety, depression, and others) and this stuff has worked wonders. It takes only a few seconds for it to start working and it isn't a sedative- so I'm not groggy! I just sold a nervous gelding who was always a little jumpy and looky, I knew he could trailer but didn't want to fight with him when it was time to leave. Gave him a cookie with a few drops of Rescue Remedy on it and he was calm and relaxed the entire time. Wish I had this stuff before! I will NEVER use any other product again. My new horse is coming in tomorrow and I will be giving her some of these drops before our first few rides so she is nice and relaxed in her new home! THANK YOU RESCUE REMEDY!"

"We have used this several times on our Chow /shep rescue. She at age 7 haseveloped severe storm anxiety. (she has lots of other long term reactive issues too).
We really don't like sedating her as this seems to enhance some of her other reactive issues and makes her hard to communicate with.
Thought we would give this a try after reading other reviews.
I must say it helped a lot with the shaking and drooling that starts prior to the storms. She seemed calmer and handled the storm better with no goofy behavior afterwards that we think was part of the sedation hangover.
We are going ot give this a run this spring.
She takes it easily so it must taste ok. I have put it on bread and cheese and on a dog cookie.
At this point I give it a thumbs up."

"Seems to have helped a couple of my horses with their anxiety with farrier work; I gave them a few drops on a treat before their turn, and they were better behaved for farrier work than they have been in some time."

"I have a 126lbs Newfoundland cross that has 'panic attracts' during storms, or any loud noises/lights. This product has worked really well on him during out last T-storm/tornado & for 4th of July. He now just lays down and looks around from time to time. Big improvement from clawing up doors in the house, panting heavily, intense salivating, whining, pacing, etc...! Vet put him on Ace tablets and they worked too well. Poor guy couldn't hardly walk, but this seems to work just right. Very happy with it."

"Have an 11 year old corgi who is increasingly freaked out by thunderstorms and fireworks (not too fond of vacuum cleaners or lawn mowers either)
I had no trouble getting him to take the drops on a treat but I couldn't tell that they were helpful in calming him down either. I will finish up the bottle and keep trying since I have it. Thought maybe if I took the product instead of giving it to him then I wouldn't mind if he were a nervous wreck, ha! (kidding, I'm kiddng!!)"

"If you have noise-sensitive pets, Rescue Remedy is the best over-the-counter calmative I can recommend ... and we have tried MANY!! Some of our foster dogs come to us very reactive to noises, or just plain scared of their shadows. 4 little drops of Rescue Remedy on a tasty treat really helps take the edge off. Some don't need it any more after acclimating to a new home, some need an occasional dose; for a car ride or vet visit, or going to the groomer, makes ear cleaning or nail trimming less stressful and even helps with 4th of July fireworks! Rescue Remedy is safe for any pet; dogs, cats, anyone large or small, and any age."

"My husband and I adopted our now 8 year old black lab five years ago. During his first summer with us, we found out the hard way that he was absolutely terrified of thunderstorms - he ran away during one! Our vet prescribed us a doggie antidepressent which worked wonders but our dog was totally incapacitated whenever we would give it to him. Searching for something that would calm his nerves but allow him to normally function, we found Bach's Rescue Remedy. Now, we use it for everything - stressful situations, thunderstorms, even if he is pacing around the house and just won't sleep. We just put a few drops on a piece of turkey and he settles within 15 minutes. I can't say enough wonderful things about this product!"

"This calming agent did the trick with my Beagle/Shetzu rescue "girl". She had terrible separation anxiety when I got her but his stuff really helped. Since she is better, I only use it whne we go to the vet. I use the DAP spray on a daily basis now & that also does the trick. Great product and highly recommend for separation anxiety."

"Our German Wirehair is very afraid of storms and exhibits severe anxiety. A friend recommended we try Rescue Remedy and it worked like a charm. Within a few minutes of providing the dose, our dog relaxed and slept right through the storm -- amazing! That was a first. Well worth the money spent so we could all get a good night's sleep."

"We have used Rescue Remedy for nearly a decade on a variety of animals and humans alike. We've had a collection of horses over the years with various fear & stress related "issues". Rather than giving them Rx or over the counter calmer, a few drops of Rescue Remedy on a horse treat calms them right down. We've had two dogs suffer with cancer. Chemo treatments are very hard on their nervous system, curbs their appetites, and dehydration is a constant worry. A few drops of Rescue Remedy in their water bowl definitely helped ease their pain, stress, and side effects of the cancer and it's treatment. Lastly, our daughter has been a competitive equestrian for over a decade. At the national level shows, butterflies impeded her ability to concentrate at 100%. A drop (or spray) of Rescue Rememdy under the tongue does the trick! It doesn't impeded her physicial or mental abilities in any form or fashion, it just enables her to relax and focus. She now uses it before any major college exam. If given the option, I will always go with an herbal remedy over an Rx."

"My dogs are very afraid of thunder storms. I gave this product to them and it may have helped a bit. However, there was not a dramatic improvement. It may work for other anxieties. Also, the directions are rather vague. I have 3 dogs rangeing from 14 to 65 pounds. It says to give 4 drops, period. The dogs did love the taste of it but it is tough to count the drops as you place it under their tounge."

"Our lab has always feared thunderstorms. Resuce Remedy seems to calm her down with out making her completely comatose. The stronger drugs from the vet took away her spark. Rescue Remedy took the edge off! Thanks."
