My daughter had a pair of Ariats that were comfy and lasted but are pricey for something outgrown so quickly. We tried a cheaper pair of synthetics but they rubbed huge blisters on her heels. After seeing the good reviews on these, we thought we would give them a try. Worn to camp this week and said they were really comfy. They appear to be well constructed. Guessing they will be outgrown before they are worn out! So it looks like we won't be returning them. Love free shipping a returns. It allows me to try things that i am not sure about. Thanks SmartPak! Your customer service is awesome!

I purchased these boots for the first time 2 years ago for both of my kids when they were 2 and 4yrs old and starting leadline. We tried on many different brands yet some were too narrow, too stiff or too pricey. However, we found the Dublin Advanced Childs Zip Boot to be PERFECT. My favorite aspects of these boots are that they are wide in the toe for growing child shaped feet, have a steel toe for safety and are soft and flexible so the young riders can get their heels down. Being frugal, but not willing to sacrifince quality, I also love that they go from everyday riding to the show ring because of their great style including the punched toe cap! As for durability, my kids ride every day in their Dublin boots, jump in the mud, play in the wet wash stall and romp around the barn for hours! These boots have held up so well that i just bought each of them the next size up because their feet grew, not because the boot showed any signs of wear and tear. I certainly will stick with this paddock boot for many years to come.

I bought these for my daughter who has complained about every shoe I have ever bought for her. She wears these without a peep. A friend told us about these being the most comfortable paddock boots she has ever worn and it holds true. I wasn't excited about spending so much on a child as I think these are priced high, but at least the value is there.
